Uhmmmm, well, to be honest, I dont want a wife at all. ;o)
MM
By the way, Max, if you see my wife today, wish her a Happy Birthday!
My wife is a baseball fan. She gets a lot of things today that many fans don't. (Thanks, in part to my scholing her). She will even watch a football game but I suspect it has something to do with her liking Tom Brady.....
Oedipus bump
I just want her to shut up when the game is on. Is that too much to ask?!
A sports fanatic is fine, as long as she does not like to gamble.
I'm somewhere in-between. I'm not an idiot nor a fanatic but I do enjoy watching most sports.
I just want to know why there are female commentators on my college football & basketball games when NO WOMEN ARE PLAYING!
My wife is neither a sports fanatic nor a sports idiot. She's in between. And she loves college basketball!
What a gal.
Hey!
You left out sports apathetic.
That's discrimination.....I'm gonna TELL!
(snicker)
Somewhere in between, which is where I am. I love my college football, will watch and enjoy NFL and baseball (college and MLB), and really couldn't care less about basketball or hockey. And my future fiancee is on the same wavelength will all that, although we may root for different teams when it comes to NFL and MLB. We have season tickets to our alma maters football games. And yes, the wedding will be planned around football season. :)
I'm not a sports idiot, but certainly not a fanatic. My husband loves it when I watch sports with him. I enjoy going to basketball games. I enjoy basketball and football on tv... just not every game for the entire season. I root for our teams -- if our teams aren't in the game, I'm just not interested. That makes him sad, but we've come up with an uneasy peace. If he wants to watch some dumb game, like the playoffs after our team has been eliminated, I don't complain. I will find something else to do.
I wouldn't mind a sports fanatic for a wife. In fact, I've always had a tendency to date women who are more into sports than I am, oddly enough.
My wife loves one NFL team and only likes watching them. It is quite comical to watch her get all upset/happy with plays or ref calls and then have to ask me what happened and it is usually the opposite of her inital reaction. No sense of the game what so ever and she has been watching for over 10 years.
No who will get the snacks ready - Geezh
I would prefer someone middle of the road. Someone who knows enough not to ask how many points a home run is worth, or why they change tires after 30 minutes.
Someone who can tell the lifetime stats of every MLB, NFL and NBA player and team is way too obsessed and wouldn't have time for me.
My husband likes the fact that we can watch events together.
I love to watch some sports. The NFL, and NASCAR mostly, but I enjoy most anything live. My husband always says that he always thought that he would make a woman happy because he could care less about sports. Then, he married a woman who is a sports fan.
I'm not fanatical, but I definitely throw out the expletives in the heat of the moment.
