Why was Cupid chosen to represent Valentine's Day? When I think about romance, the last thing on my mind is a short, chubby toddler coming at me with a weapon.
Who's idea was it to put Valentine's Day so soon after Christmas and then make the minimum gift equal to what the Three Wise Men brought to Jesus?
Is having dinner out at the same time as everyone else in town at the same restaurant really romantic? It could be worse though. Think mall food court.
Single people on Valentine's Day come the closest to understanding what it is like to be Jewish at Easter.
Where do all these roses come from in the middle of February? The only thing that naturally blooms in February is Punxsutawney Phil the Groundhog. My theory... secret government underground labs.

Is it okay to give Valentine's to non members?
Last Valentine's day some radio disk jockey was joking about the activities common on Valentine's day night. I got to thinking about it, did some calculating, and smiled at the realization. I was born on November 15.

Yes... but it must be from a box of kiddie valentines. Only members are allowed Hallmark moments.
It is a documented fact that most US births occur in the fall, i.e. September to November. That pretty much covers the entire winter holiday season!
Something about cold weather makes couples "snuggle" supposedly. :)
