Anyone see Turner on Law and Order this evening on NBC?
Hard to believe she's the same woman who was in Body Heat.
Which one? The fat defense attorney?
It would be nice to see a pic. Just because time hasn't been too kind to her looks, her insides are what counts.
Yep
I've heard her interviewed in the past. Time hasn't been kind to the insides either.
That is right! Hopefully she can lose some weight and regain her looks, too.
I would have never guessed. I thought the voice was somewhat familiar, but I didn't pay much attention to the woman, except to note her girth.
And obviously, I didn't pay ANY attention to the names of the guest stars.

But it is so much easier to regain the weight and lose the looks :)
I think Body Heat was the first rated R flick I saw. It was on HBO and the folks were asleep. Babe-i-licious in '82

Terri Garr doesn't look so good either, but she does have MS.
I didn't see the show but from the pics linked here, she doesn't look that awful. Just a little older and heavier. Like most of us.
Has she sucked down the Hollywood koolaid?
The older you get, the harder it is to lose the weight. I don't have that problem at the moment, but there comes a day when you just have to live with it. I hope Nancy Pelosi sees this comment.

How can you say that? (sarcasm)
The camera didn't do her any favors tonight. Maybe they had her made up to look like an old alcoholic for effect but at times her speech was slurred and she appeared to have trouble walking. She didn't look healthy.
I think that part of the youth worship that goes on is because we see someone in a movie from like 1985, and see them 21 years later, and expect them to look the same. I always kind of felt sorry for Sandra Dee. It must have been tough being 60 years old and having everyone expect you to still look like Gidget. I always think of her because she was the first screen star I fell head over heels for. Of course, at that time, Gidget was a mature, older woman to me. I was about ten.
