Budweiser Shootout Qualifying Draw: Thursday, 7 p.m. ET. (SPEED Channel will air the draw Friday afternoon during its “NASCAR Live” show at 5 p.m. ET.)

The Pentagon announced today the formation of a new 500-man elite fighting
unit called the United States Redneck Special Forces. (USRSF). These
Alabama,
Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and
Texas boys will be dropped off in Iraq and have been given only the
following facts about terrorists:

1. The season opened today.
2. There is no limit.
3. They taste just like chicken.
4. They don't like beer, pickups, country music or Jesus.
5. They are DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE for the death of Dale Earnhardt.

We expect the problem in Iraq to be over by Feb. 11, 2004 8:30 p.m. ET (USA).

Due to inclement weather, the 28th annual Budweiser Shootout scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 11, has been postponed. NASCAR officials and officials from Daytona International Speedway announced that Sunday’s schedule is as follows (weather permitting):
Qualifying, Daytona 500 -- 12:08 p.m. (NBC-TV)

TNT on air for Bud Shootout -- 4 p.m.

Start your engines command - 4:30 p.m.

Green flag -- 4:42 p.m.
