I would like to see the Cardinals win. Every year it seems all the pundits are saying- "this could be a breakout year" and they go nowhere.
Both the Bay Area teams, Raiders and 49ers are bad and probably will be for awhile.

No. I'm gonna try to get the watch instead. Right before the playoff started I got this Danbury Mint offer for a 4 SB Champ watch, I decided if they went all the way I'd order it. I figure they'll either change it to 5, cancel the idea completely, or the 4 champ watches will become slightly rare and gain additional coolness.

You have to be pretty desperate to work for Al Davis.

The problem with Peyton blaming the line this year was that he brought it up. He came to the podium and said he knew what the press was going to ask and then talked about protection problems. While he was probably right the press would ask about that with him bringing it up that made it kind of nasty. Much better for team chemistry to actually wait for the press to ask those questions.

The "new " 49er owners are really bad as well. I miss Eddie D, he was great. Whats a little riverboat gambling casino deals between friends? Since his brother in law, the Yorks took over, the 49ers are a joke, its too bad.

In addition to the DVD NFL flims puts out every year for the SB chamion the Pats have produced their own DVD's called Three Games to Glory I, II, and III which focus just on the post season wins in their Super Bowl runs. It wouldn't surprise me if the Steelers do the same thing.

After last year it was hard for them not to get a more difficult schedule this season.

No, Fouts was actually a good quarterback. He just always seemed so full of himself for a guy that never even won a conference title that I like to pick on him.

It's hard to believe that 15 years ago the 49ers and Patriots were in the exact opposite position they are today.

I guess it's hard to blame him for losing the AFC title game the following year in Cincy. Bengal fans couldn't have asked for better weather.

He came to the podium and said he knew what the press was going to ask and then talked about protection problems.

You didnt see the whole press conference, before he said that they asked him about it like 20 times and he changed the subject, then he said "we had protection problems", take it for what you want, him not pointing out the correct protection, the line not doing their job, him not getting rid the ball in .1 seconds, or the running backs not picking up their blocks. If you watched the game and say they didnt have protection problems you werent watching to closely. Pit had 5 sacks, and who know how many hurries.

That would be cool. I definitely want something to commemorate but I've never really dug the t-shirts the NFL sells, not enough team colors. Anyway hanging out in the geek world I'm on the mainline for free t-shirts and now have a hard time justifying paying for t-shirts, especially at NFL official merchandise prices.

Stabler won a Super Bowl with a team no more talented than the one Fouts lost several AFC titles with.

The Pats have some tough games but it won't be the grind last year was:

Home: BUF, MIA, NYJ, IND, HOU, CHI, DET, DEN

Away: BUF, MIA, NYJ, JAX, TEN, MIN, GB, CIN

I thought we'd be playing Pittsburgh again but I guess that'll have to wait until the post season.

It all starts at the top, as you know.
Kraft is a good owner and will do whatever it takes to win, spend the money and get the best people he can.
Eddie D was the same way, the new owners are clowns...I don't think they care at all, at least it seems that way.

Winning one SB doesn't mean he was a better QB by any stretch. That could mean that Trent Dilfer is a better QB than Dan Marino.
