"The injuries were overwhelming this year."But that was their excuse for their early season losses. Since then, we were told by Patriot fans that they got all their injured players back and that's why they were rolling and not to count them out as this year's Super Bowl Champion. Remember? ;-)

He's also going to find out what it's like to face a defense that has no fear of Indy running the ball.

They didn't get them all back.

Peyton Manning is a crybaby choker. Couldn't win the big one in college, can't win the big one now.
Tennessee won the National Championship the year after he left.
To: mainepatsfan
New England has only beaten Dallas twice.

Revolking Pittsburgh's "Rent a Ref" initiative? Good thing you're not gov_spelling_ czar, that would be a revoting development.

Funny what happens when you're more worried about winning football games than trying to win someone the Heismann trophy.

they could pick up a FA, or perhaps even hang on to "the Edge".

The last time they played it was the highest rated sporting event in cable history. A Pats-Boys SB would draw a huge audience.

If Dan Fouts had been as good as he thought he was, they would have been unbeatable. I still can't believe he had the gall to do those commercials where he compared his career to Kenny Stabler's.

Edge is gone and whoever they get to replace him won't be near his caliber.
To: Wristpin
At least Fouts won an AFC Championship. For whom?

Fouts was out gunned by Jim Plunkett in an AFC title game at home!
To: mainepatsfan
I've always thought that rushing success depended on the offensive line at least as much, and perhaps more, than having a "feature back".
but as we have already mentioned, they may not be very happy, either.

Injuries hurt the team all year, thats the truth. Its part of the game and an organization needs to manage its roster effectively. Without Harrison and Dillon at 75%, it was not a competative team. Brady is going to have surgery for a hernia, that wasn't even known by anyone.

Hey, did you hear that McNabb played with a hernia? The media barely mentioned it.
