Normally, I despise television commercials. The increased frequency, decreased quality, and repetition of advertisements, combined with cutting and editing of programming to fit them in, is makes television more unwatchable. Under normal circumstances, I channel surf during commercial interruptions.
The one exception is the Super Bowl. The broadcast features commercials never seen before and in most cases hopefully never seen again. The commercials in the Super Bowl XL broadcast were mostly lame. Here are a few ideas for future Super Bowl commercials.

IMHO, Budweiser and Career Builders had the best commercials. Half time was lame, very lame. They should get rid of the high price big names, who only sing two or three numbers and replace them with something very very old fashioned: marching bands! That was great half-time entertainment.
While kitties are nice, they would not appeal to everybody.
Nothing would appeal to everyone. I like the idea of marching bands.

We had a Live Thread for the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet..LOL..Halftime was kittens They were great..
I'm thinking the program might consist of:
The Alley Cat Song,
Eye of the Tiger,
Tiger Rag, and, for their finale. . .

I was talking so much with the friends over at my place that I didn't pay too much attention to the ads, etc. But Animal Planet had something they were running called the Puppy Bowl that showed puppies cavorting all over a mockup of a football field (complete with ads on the side). And the halftime show was kitties doing all kinds of playing around, also set to music. C'mon, what's a more exciting halftime show, the
Stones, or cats playing with string?
