Cats like to play with their food.

while the [Italian] mastiff should top out at about 90 [lbs]. Pretty small Mastiff. .....I've seen plenty of Labs and Goldens bigger than that.

Cairo will either be placed with another young animal or be adopted by one of the park's employees.A mastiff that has been socialized with a lion -- now that's the perfect pet.

But both dog and lion will be on display at the park's Animal Care Center near the entrance for the next month or two, Diehl said
Or at least until the Lion decides to get hungry

Thank you. I'm sorry that the pictures inspired the sour pusses to predict that the dog would be eaten. I'm sure that they will separate them before that happens.

We should make a trip to the Wild Animal Park to see these cuties! I haven't been in over two years and I'm long overdue for another visit.

If two babies of different species are raised together, the chances of one harming the other approaches zero.

A very small mastiff... I thought a male mastiff tipped the scale at anywhere between 150-200 pounds. Anyone with more knowledge care to elaborate?

Aww!
When going to breakfast today I walked by a pickup truck containing FOUR Rottweilers. My life was in grave danger - I was almost licked to death!

Male English Mastiffs usually weigh in at over 200 lbs., but the Mastiff in this story is of the Italian variety. ....a smaller breed, but 90 lbs is still on the small side.

There are a few different types of Mastiffs and that must be the smallest.
One Mastiff on Cape Cod was named heaviest (maybe largest) dog in the world. A friend of mine has two and the lightest one is 175#.
I don't know who's this is:
