What was the name of that woman who drowned her kids in the car to be with her boyfriend?

My own opinion is not really about whether this person should feel guilty for life, I don't think she should. But if you are a dog lover, what makes you think you will be happy with a person who would not want dogs?
Someone once asked me, would you give up your pets if the love of your life asked you to? I said "of course not" She was shocked that I would 'choose animals over a person'. I said "What person ~could~ be the love of my life and still ask this? My life with animals is a huge part of who I am."
Ping!

Personally, I hope that you are tormented for the rest of your life and rot in hell.

I wouldn't want to be with a woman that can do that to a defenseless animal.
Those dogs would have done anything for her and she greased them.

Susan Smith. A similar thought process, isn't it?

Dear Dr. Gail,
A few years ago I was taking care of a cat that I had adopted but was not overly fond of. In short, we had an uneasy truce in the apartment, but I was okay with it. When I met and got engaged to a woman who is deathly allergic to cats, I did a thorough search and found a cat lover who adored Oliver and gave him a wonderful home.
My question: What's wrong with me, that I couldn't just toss him out into the street or find a vet who could "take care of the problem" quietly? Am I a sap?
Oh, here's Oliver:

Couldn't you just pinch him?

This is outrageous, I hope this woman suffers for the rest of her life.I agree. I might bump off a girlfriend because she didn't like my animals...but to kill innocent pets...that's sick. :)

I agree with you. I cannot even be friends with people who do not like animals, who do not understand my feelings for my pets or, who my dogs dislike. I have found that most often than not, if my dogs don't like a specific person, this person turns out to be not worthy of my trust, let alone my friendship. So, love me, love my dog, or get out of my life!!!!

I feel that I have gone from dog-lover to dog-killer in one trans-Pacific flight.
Uhm, that's because you have. Funny how your conscience gets at ya, huh?

When people take on a pet they make a committment to care for that animal to the best of their ability. There was no need to have these animals put to sleep when other options were available.

So true, when the world is against you the only one you can count on for unconditional love is your dog.

"Come on...they're dogs." Yeah, I guess you're right. You know, when I was about 16 I used to know a kid who would put little kittens, just born, under the back wheels of his car and peel out smearing them all over the road. He said much the same thing, "Who cares, they're only cats".
Steve? Is that you?
