Well, you could cook something else? Around here they have a business that is called "Dine-In-Out". They will deliver food from the local restraunts, sort of like a pizza delivery but with real food (but pizza is still a favorite). Or go out by yourself and eat a good meal. I know, it was awkward at first going out by myself when my husband first died, but now I am getting more used to the idea. Not nearly as much fun though I know. (And usually I have my little boy with me).
Oops, I mean "Dine-Out-In". It is even free delivery if you give them food for the local food bank. So its a nice trade off, "real food" delivered for a few cans of food.
lol - of course! Sorta like halftime with the football game, you know.
I'm helpless when it comes to the kitchen. The only foods I know how to make are toast, cereal, and I guess peanut-butter sandwiches.
Sometimes I go out by myself to eat, but that usually makes Mom and Dad incredibly jealous. Not to mention that that's just not something you can do all the time. Especially since I'm unemployed and penniless; I can't afford it.
Actually, I love going out by myself to places. It's like freedom, only better. But I've always been kind of a reclusive weirdo, so don't take my advice.
AOL keeps logging me offline. Guess that is my que to get back to work. Have a fun night everyone.
I need to rent the first 2 1/2 seasons and have really gotten into it over the past year...
Okay, good night Theresa.
Speaking of shows, I have to ask if anyone has watched the American version of "The Office" on NBC. Its ratings have not been very good but I think it's one of the funniest and best shows on TV right now.
Nope. I haven't really watched any network sitcoms since Head of the Class and The Wonder Years were canceled.
Well, The Wonder Years...I can understand that.
Still, The Office is hilarious. I don't understand why more people aren't tuning in. I guess because it's a remake and people don't think it will be as good as the original.
Good evening.
Good evening, tuliptree!
I don't remember the last time I've watched network television.
What are you up to tonight?
Not much. Has it been a wild Friday night in here?
Well, normally I don't either. But it depends on the quality of the show.
I'll just talk to you here instead of the cartoon thread.
It has not been a very wild Friday here. At least not yet.
Okay. I don't know how to make it wild. I'm not one to liven up a party. LOL!
Me either. I guess we can just play it by ear.
