Welcome to the OFFICIAL Friday/Saturday Night Singles' Thread
January 27th and 28th, 2006
"We're Gonna Have a Good Time Tonight...Let's Celebrate...It's All Right!"
In store for tonight:
I read a fascinating article in the February 2006 issue of Popular Mechanics entitled "The Flying Luxury Hotel." Rather than a cruise ship, it functions as a cruise craft -- but the potential for this new aircraft also extends to military and commercial freighting applications. More information can be found here. Let me know what you think!
Further thoughts:
What is/are your pet peeve(s)?

And we always have fun doing it. Hoo-yah!

Doing ok. My son actually went to bed early tonight....woohoo (although he keeps appearing in my office.
Some friends took me to a nice Italian dinner tonight for my Bday tomorrow, it was funny, Eric (my 4 year old) started counting to....um my age .... and then announced to everyone within earshot of the restraunt how old I will be.
I am going to the mountains tomorrow for a few days, looking for snow to play in with my little boy. Problem is, there is little to no snow locally. I do love California, but when you want to play, you want to play.

Am I too late? Has Jack Bauer caught the terrorists yet? Am I on the right thread?

Yes, I am. I haven't seen the first 3 seasons, but I got hooked last year.

My Mom and sis were always trying to get me to start that show. I have Season 1 right next to the television, but I've never gotten around to starting it.
They literally watch an entire season in one sitting.

HUGE spoiler!
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.

I've watched all 3 extended LOTR movies back to back in one sitting. I imagine a season of 24 would only take a couple more hours.
To: scott7278
I'd have to do Netflix if I did watch it...so it'd have to wait until after the move. But considering how many people are hooked on it, I figure it's gotta be pretty good.
Jack sounds intriguing. Scary, but intriguing.

Sounds like you've been having more fun than me. I just sit at the computer on FR all day. Sometimes I eat, too.
Mom and Dad have gone on a diet, and unfortunately, that means I have, too. I'm sick of low-fat diet junk!! I'm young and skinny, so why do I have to get roped into these things?

24 is the best show on tv. I've been watching since season 1

So you are the right person to ask this...
Being an experienced 24 fan, when you hear the dink-a, dink-a, dink-a sound of the clock...
do you get a sudden urge to run to the bathroom and/or the kitchen?
