I wonder how much interest the NFL's going to have with this 'standout'.

The guy is a thug and he's trouble. There is not enough time between now and the draft for him to grow up.

Vick was removed from the team for the ticket and the stomping incident, not for either one. He had one last shot and he blew it. VT was more than patient with Marcus.

Sounds like he has a promising career with the Raiders.

He had been under a "zero tolerance" policy at Virginia Tech following his suspension from the university for the 2004 season after several legal problems. ...so then he was catered to,propped up,and he failed to improve and NOW the university has problems...should have been dealt with back in "04"

I wonder how much interest the NFL's going to have with this 'standout'.I wonder how much more patience Atlanta fans are going to have with Michael Vick.
The elder Vick's mouth is slowly making its way into Terrell Owens territory. Oh yeah, his on-the-field production isn't exactly living up to the hype either.

now it's just time to move on It occurs to me that "forgiveness" is when a victim says, "You did bad things to me -- but don't beat yourself up about it anymore. You can move on. It's OK."
Nowadays perpetrators handle it differently: "Yeah, I did bad things. Who the **** cares? Move on already!"

""I know Marcus. He's not the kind of kid that's going to do something like that on purpose. "
And yet...he's the kid that DID do it on purpose. I'm confused.

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick believes Virginia Tech overreacted when the school dismissed his brother, Marcus, from the football team after he stomped on an opposing player during the Gator Bowl. Yea. It's not like Marcus gave some girl herpes while using a false name like Joe Canada.
