Sadonna (Is the Queen of Pop's quest for eternal youth taking its toll?)
Drudge Report (via Daily Mirror) ^ | 1/26/06 | Drudge

SHE'S wowed the world for two decades - but even a fashion icon can have an off day.

And when Madonna arrived in Paris yesterday looking decidedly less than glamorous, fears were raised that her relentless fitness regime may be taking its toll on her looks. The 47-year-old's skin was stretched across razor-sharp cheekbones and her chin was puckered as she turned up for a Gaultier fashion show.

A fellow guest said: "Madonna usually looks so groomed. It was a bit of a shock to see her looking so ropey."

The mum-of-two exercises at least three hours a day, sometimes runs 10-miles, and eats mainly wholegrains and vegetables.

The woman is nearing fifty. Her face is going to start showing that regardless of diet and exercise.

If not already visited, I predict a visit to a plastic surgeon in the near future.

So the lesson to be learned here is eat lots of meat and good stuff like potatoes, avocadoes, nachos, chocolate, etc. and go easy on the whole grain and brown rice crap. Take more time to relax, NOT work out.

Have a couple of beers or cocktails now and then.

LIVE a little.

Then you won't end up looking like {shudder!} THAT.

Works for me.

I was just thinking that, too! I know people in their late 60s who look younger and prettier than Madonna is in this pic! But, I have to say, most vegetarians I know tend to age more quickly, and seldom ever look healthy.

Is this a recent development? She's always looked like cr*p to me, no doubt helped by her politics and that fingernails-on-the-chalkboard voice. It's been a few months since I've seen the skag, though.

Speaking of which, did you see Estrich with Hannity earlier this week? If the Fox makeup folks can get Estrich looking halfway decent, think of what they could do with Hodonna.

Oh, that's right!

Here...I'll simplify it: Live like a good conservative instead of like some elite, Hollywood, new-age, attention-hungry, skanky, I'm-so-clueless-in-my-ivory-tower liberal freak.

THEN you'll age much more gracefully. ;-)

(It's true! I mean, look at Helen Thomas. Or better yet...don't look at her.)

Love it! Hank rocks. Of course, we Texans are very modest about our state as is well known. {cough! cough!}

P.S. I'm a Texas gal who grew up "military brat" and has a close connection with Virginia. Went to high school there and still have family there and visit as often as I can.

My first impression is that her facelift is the most remarkable (in a good sense) that I have seen. Plus she looks healthier.

Hard to beleave this is Madonna.
We don't know her personal past well enough, there could be a
relation to meth use. Even at near fifty she should't look this bad and, may-be some-one has been to photo shop.
