Maybe it's none of your business what they choose to do with their lives. He wasn't bragging, he was confessing to try and give support to Rca.

If that is how things work I would think you would be asking him everyday.

That's NOT how things "work." Prayer is not something where you just ask God for whatever and He delivers. It's not a free ride. It's about a total sacrifice of self in favor of serving Him. It's about a perfect yielding to His divine plan and to the Blood He shed for man's salvation.

Try to come off as a little more normal.

There's no such thing as "normal." It's all relative.

You guys will not know what you are missing.

Here we really find the problem. You view sexuality as a self-gratification; a temporary pleasure. We view it as a full expression of love: a Holy union of flesh and spirit between man and wife. It is too sacred to us to be short-changed for self-gratifying.

Not only that, but in our viewpoint, the Bible condemns sex before marriage. It is fornication, a sin of the flesh. Missing out on God's perfect plan for eternal salvation is not worth it. Hell is not worth all the pleasure in the world. I would rather be a virgin my entire life than spend eternity in Hell. Think about ETERNITY for a minute. It never ends. You are there FOREVER. You will NEVER get out! EVER!!

Do you really think that you are going to find a 40 year old virgin for a wife?

I'm sure there are plenty out there who are just as lonely as us. It's just a matter of when God is ready for us to meet.

It's not about finding a bunch of virgins. It's about finding a person God has planned for us.

What I don't understand about you is why you're so obsessed with the fact that we are virgins who have decided to abstain until marriage. Get over it.

A. It's none of your business what we do.
B. Isn't whether or not someone's a virgin arbitrary? Who cares? It goes back to the old argument of homosexuals categorizing themselves by a sexual orientation. They are gay first. Conservatives tend to argue that whether or not someone is gay is not a way to categorize themselves, and they should keep it in the bedroom.

It's the same thing with virginity. Who cares? That is not how you define a human being. They are not "40 year-old virgins," they are 40 year-olds who happen to be virgins.

Maybe it's none of your business what they choose to do with their lives. Your advice is very good... maybe RCA should listen to it. I really don't care if he is a virgin... power to him. But everyone on the internet does not need to know about it. And it's none of his business what others choose to do with their lives... if they chose not to be virgins. A great deal of his posts are attacking others for not being as pure as he is. That's NOT how things "work." Prayer is not something where you just ask God for whatever and He delivers That was my understanding as well (although I am not the praying type). The poster I was replying to was convinced that his prayer for a new job was answered within two weeks. "Bible condemns sex before marriage. " What about masterbation?

That' the problem our detractors have, they view God like a vending machine or like Santa Claus, you ask and you receive. It ain't like that at all. Sometimes you ask for His help and whatnot and there are times the answer may ne "no, not now but hang in there" or it may not be exactly what you want or what you expect would happen. I had a job prior to that and could have said no, but my hart told me to jump and grab the Golden Ring. It's like my current job, it may not be exactly what I want but the money is fair and it is an excellent chance to have some doors open for me. Before the right girl comes along, I have to get my economic house in order so that could be God's answer to me. Plus as you put it, God expects things from us too, our trust in Him, living our lives as good as we can be as well as our sweat and effort such as the case in my job.

There's no such thing as "normal." It's all relative.

Well, yeah, exactly what is normal? You start getting into statistics here and that where my head begins to hurt. Adding to that, as Mom told me as a kid, "just because all of your friends jumo off the Westinghouse Bridge, should you?" Or as Obi Wan Kenobi said in "Star Wars, Episode IV, "who is the bigger fool, the fool or the fool that follows him?"

Here we really find the problem. You view sexuality as a self-gratification; a temporary pleasure. We view it as a full expression of love: a Holy union of flesh and spirit between man and wife. It is too sacred to us to be short-changed for self-gratifying.

Exactly, I could not have said it better.

Good points. I know we all sin and many people do lead sinful lives but if they redeem themselves to God and ask for His forgiveness and guidance, they can redeem themselves. But getting back to the point, I have to think, "would chancing an eternity in Hell a good price for a few minutes of pleasure. I think not. I'm not saying anyone here will go there, it is up to God to decide, but He has laid down rules for us to strive to live by. We may fail at times but we do try our best and God realizes that.

I'm sure there are plenty out there who are just as lonely as us. It's just a matter of when God is ready for us to meet.

True, things like that can't be rushed, if you do, you can screw up and/or end up with someone not right for you.
