Previously(last year) I saw on the internet a statistical breakdown of the amount of income taxes paid per individual according to their party voting affiliation. Does anyone know a quick access to this information? It was broken down by $$$ paid per individual and then it also had the $$$ paid by Republicans in total and then the $$ paid by Democrats, and then $$$ paid by other parties in a third group. In this same report there was also a breakdown of how much each group gave to charity by $$$. Would appreciate help if someone knows how to track this down BsMom
ping!
Here is one you can verify.
"This is the latest data for calendar year 2003 just released in October 2005 by the Internal Revenue Service. The share of total income taxes paid by the top 1% of wage earners rose to 34.27% from 33.71% in 2002. Their income share (not just wages) rose from 16.12% to 16.77%. However, their average tax rate actually dropped from 27.25% down to 24.31%. The Top 50% pay 96.54% of All Income Taxes"
So, there you have it. Half the people pay almost ALL the income taxes.
I am always amazed at how few Dems know this. The Laffer curve is a true show stopper.
Thanks. I'm no better at figures than you are! I'm a statistician who can't do arithmetic. Here's the type of statistics I'm doing this week. LOL! There's still time to sign up for some sessions tomorrow if you're interested. ;)

I would, but...going to the mountains tomorrow to do some skiing. Some other time (2039 AD) perhaps.
I'm still waiting for a complete independent audit of all government money spent.
LOL! 2039! LOL! ;)
Wow, have fun skiing!!!
