CHAMBERLAIN SCORES 100 POINTS. The game still had 46 seconds left but was not completed because fans poured onto the court.

There was a thread on the cancellation. FReepers were not crying about it. Now, get rid of Geena Davis.

AMEN! I'm not crying either. When Michael Moore was talking about "fictitional governments", he must have been looking to shows like "The Left Wing" and ahead to "Commander in (Miss)Chief".

Laker announcer Stu Lantz called it the greatest basketball performance he'd ever seen.

The Pistons would still wipe the floor with Kobe and the Lakers.

Yes, but they probably won't get the chance.

'Kobe' is a stain.

He doesn't have much of a 'supporting cast', as they used to say about Jordan and the Bulls.

But at least Jordan made the guys around him play better (see Scotty Pippen). Kobe is just a ball hog.

Last I checked, Jordan had as many championships without guys like Scottie Pippen and Steve Kerr/John Paxson as Kobe does without guys like Shaquille O' Neal, Derek Fisher and Rick Fox. ZERO.

So was Jordan when he was younger. And I didn't say Kobe wasn't a ball hog. Kobe has had too much success early and is immature because of it. He doesn't trust the people he plays with.

Jordan didn't win his first championship until he was 28. Kobe won't be 28 until August and already has 3. Hopefully he will learn to be a team player. If he's smart he will.

A 33-5 record,

Now if only the Detroit Tigers or Detroit Lions could WIN more than 5 games, this would be a real sports town. ;-)

Yeah. Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas, Dany Ainge, Dominique Wilkins, Julius Erving- they never drove the lane.

I've always doubted that 100 as an accounting error.
