Well the guy did have point here - until solar power produces more energy in the lifetime of the solar chip than it takes to make the chip in the first place solar will continue to be useless or worse. And we do need the oil and the caribou will have to get out of the way but we will no doubt arrange for a new place for the caribou.

People are too quick around here now days to zot someone. Granted his first day and all but we don't know how long he/she's been lurking.
Wasn't it Reagan who started the phrase 'trickle down economy'?

Wasn't it Reagan who started the phrase 'trickle down economy'? In a word, no. Reagan spoke (eloquently) of supply-side economics. The Democrats and the media contrived the derogatory term "trickle down economics."

Just for fun, let's go through this trolls post:
Tax cuts - Well I didn't get one, and in fact I'm a lot poorer now. But a lot of rich folks did get them and I'm am just waiting for that money to trickle down to me. Any day now and I'll be rollin in it!
Well, first off it is hard to get a tax cut when your not paying taxes, as over 50% of the American population does not pay federal taxes. Second, depending on where you live, your local taxes probably are going up, especially if you live in a 'bruise blue' state. Third, anyone waiting for a handout, someone who is that lazy, deserves exactly "$0.00" from us taxpayers. Why not try hard work and persistence, taking responsibility for your own life rather than being a lazy troll sucking off the hard work of others.
Bad guys - None of that wimpy negotiations and measured responses for our President. It's kill 'em all and let Allah sort 'em out. That's what I'm talking about! And what's even better is when they get captured. Our President knows how these people need to dealt with. If somebody shoved a chain saw under your nose, you'd talk.
Well, have to hand it to you, I must agree. However, I will go further: Any terrorist captured should be dealt with in any manner possible to extract information. Let's show them as much mercy as they show their prisoners, let's show them as much mercy as they show when blowing up innocent men, women and children.
Energy - Face it, solar power is so gay. We need oil and them darn caibou can just get out of the way.
Seems to me the caribou have been getting out of the way for decades. The Alaska pipeline was going to be the end of all species in Alaska, especially caribou, according to enviro-whackos back in the late 20th century. The reality is the caribou herds, and most other wildlife, have increased dramtically in the past 30-40 years.
Environment -- Boy, does our President really understand how totally gay those tree huggers are.
Not sure if they are gay (this troll sounds homophobic) but he sure does know that most environmental groups today are fronts for old school communists and socialists.
Civil rights - If you aren't some al Qaeda terrorist up to no good, he won't be listening in on your phone calls.
Hey, you got something right!! Well, even a monkey can type a word if it hits enough keys.
President Bush is the best ever! I wish he could run again!
I wish he could run again too, but that is not our system.
That being said, adios troll!! Posted on 01/22/2006 10:27:46 AM PST by technomage
