Why I love President Bush (and solar-powered Zots!)

Posted on 01/22/2006 9:59:04 AM PST by curver

Tax cuts - Well I didn't get one, and in fact I'm a lot poorer now. But a lot of rich folks did get them and I'm am just waiting for that money to trickle down to me. Any day now and I'll be rollin in it!

Bad guys - None of that wimpy negotiations and measured responses for our President. It's kill 'em all and let Allah sort 'em out. That's what I'm talking about! And what's even better is when they get captured. Our President knows how these people need to dealt with. If somebody shoved a chain saw under your nose, you'd talk.

Energy - Face it, solar power is so gay. We need oil and them darn caibou can just get out of the way.

Environment -- Boy, does our President really understand how totally gay those tree huggers are.

Civil rights - If you aren't some al Qaeda terrorist up to no good, he won't be listening in on your phone calls.

President Bush is the best ever! I wish he could run again!

You said: I see no reason to zot the person.

Admin Mod says: This might explain why I'm the mod and you're not.

Reminded me of Chevy Chase's quote: I'm Chevy Chase and you're not!

This might explain why I'm the mod and you're not.

Amen to that.

Yes, and I noticed you ignored that it was an obvious zot.
With his opening line being a DNC talking point, what do you think his intent was?

Let's see:

1) He signs up today.

2) He posts a vanity right off the bat.

3) The vanity is oozing with obvious sarcasm and disdain.

4) He tosses around the term "gay" a lot. (Who ever said that tree huggers are "so gay?" What is this guy? In high school?)

5) He brings in classic class envy "tax cuts for the rich" propaganda and uses the anti-Reagan term "trickle down."

You ignore all this evidence and say you're willing to give him the benefit of the doubt? I don't think you have your B.S. meter switched on.

The Ponch'O'rello - H-Mo picture is funny enough, but what you said before it just caught me at the right time/place. It was meant metaphorically, but I really did laugh enough to have to wipe away a tear.

I'm tired of repeating myself on this subject.

1)What, in the above statement do neither of you agree with? I agree with that statement.

Energy - Face it, solar power is so gay. We need oil and them darn caribou can just get out of the way.

2)You don't agree with that statement?
We do need oil and they should drill in anwar, let the caribou move over. I agree with that statement.

Environment -- Boy, does our President really understand how totally gay those tree huggers are.

3)Save a tree, shut off our electricity? Y'all would rather save a tree and heat your homes? I say cut the trees, I want lights. I agree with that statement.

Civil rights - If you aren't some al Qaeda terrorist up to no good, he won't be listening in on your phone calls.
4)Y'all don't think eavesdropping on al queada calls is the thing to do? I'm not getting calls from terrorist so let them listen in to whomever is at the receiving end of those calls. I agree with that statement.

President Bush is the best ever! I wish he could run again!

5)I agree with that statement.

Now Darksheare, I saw the title of the thread...Why I love President Bush. On FR one never knows when the original title has been enhanced, especially after they were zotted. Did the poster write the entire headline to the thread, or were the words (and solar-powered zots)inserted there by someone else?

Choose Ye This Day...

1) He signs up today.
I noted that in my original comment.

2) He posts a vanity right off the bat.
I noted that as well.

3) The vanity is oozing with obvious sarcasm and disdain.
I spoke on that as well. Since you seem to have a machine that can absolutely pick out sarcasm and disdain, may I borrow it. It would come in handy on these kinds of threads?

4) He tosses around the term "gay" a lot. (Who ever said that tree huggers are "so gay?" What is this guy? In high school?)

I hadn't noticed he used the word, 'gay' so many times. I don't have a problem with him throwing the word around. I was more interested in his comments on disliking 'tree huggers' than his terminology and way he framed his sentences.

5) He brings in classic class envy "tax cuts for the rich" propaganda and uses the anti-Reagan term "trickle down."

You'll notice, I didn't bring that subject up, because I didn't agree with it. Only a couple on here did. You and Darksheare are making a point on a matter that I did not mention. Yet, I've not seen a response to my asking...'what do you not agree with him on'? Don't forget, I never commented on the tax thing. You can't add a comment on something I never asked.

You're still trying to excuse the fact that it was an obvious zot and you didn't see it?

I don't care that it was a zot, I won't be taken out and shot. And my questions were still not answered I see. Oh well. I'm finished with this subject.

"I don't care that it was a zot.."

You cared enough to say that you didn't see what was so zottable about it.

"I won't be taken out and shot."

Melodramatic hyperbole, don't make me puke.

Well, for starters, pretty much everyone who isn't being subsidized by other taxpayers saw part of that tax cut.

It's kill 'em all and let Allah sort 'em out.

Well, that's not our President's policy. Never has been and never will be. We're not trying to "kill 'em all." The phrase implies that we will indiscriminately bomb anyone anywhere close to where the bad guys happen to be. We're not doing that. Our military goes to great lengths to avoid civilian casualties. The hundreds of terrorists we have in Guantanamo and elsewhere give the lie to the notion that we are seeking to "kill 'em all and let Allah sort 'em out."

If somebody shoved a chain saw under your nose, you'd talk.

Who is shoving chain saws under people's noses? Honestly, this is juvenile comic book talk. This troll is saying that President Bush is Jack Bauer and that real life is like TV.

This thing is dripping with sarcasm. You failed to see it. It deserved to be zotted for the five reasons I mentioned in my previous post. The Admin Moderator did the right thing. End of story.

He's into melodrama and hyperbole.
Check out his post 114.
He's mad that this was a zot, and he's having a bit of an issue with it.
See his post 67.. he doesn't see why this was a zot.
