Kink's singer says the queen swore

Kinks frontman Ray Davies says he was shocked when Britain's Queen Elizabeth told him, "I hope they catch the (expletive) who shot you."
"I could hardly believe what I'd heard. I had to wash my ears out afterwards," Davies, 61, told the Mirror.

I sincerely believe that Mr. Davies mis-heard or mis-interpreted what H.M. said. She is too careful and true to duty [and image] ever to say such a thing in public.

Even if she said it, and she probably did...he shouldn't have repeated it like this. That is much cruder than what she said. She invites you to the Palace, talks to you like a friend, and then you diss her in public. Why am I not surprised.

Yes but she is almost 80. She has been Queen for more than 50 years. Perhaps she has reached the stage like many do when you no longer care about the usual social niceties.

Oh, I am very sorry, it was an honest mistake, because that first source, I think was "Contact Music" which did not take. I tried to remember to change all of the fields. I apologize.
