You need a hot woman to get you warm and a bottle of booze. I'm taking a break from hot women, especially after my Christmas debacle. Besides, its almost Bass spawning season and I would have no time for women.
Booze I got.

Zicam. Been using this stuff for 4 years now and I swear by it. Always have it on hand and use it at the first sign of a cold. Haven't had a cold in a long time. Can't even remember the last time.

Go to the health food store and buy several bottles of SAMBUCOL [Nature's Way] [whole food store has the best price for it]. It's best to always have it on hand, cause when flu, cold first starts that's when you've got to start taking it before that virus gets throughout your system. If you start on it now...even after the virus has gotten a foot hold...it'll still limit that old cold virus.
Buy the syrup w/out sugar.

I have a bad cold right now too, I think my one-a-day vitamins plus lots of water and rest are helping, but it still sucks. Just try to keep your mind busy with something else while your body fights off the intruders.

I do happen to be heading out to Whole Foods, so I will check for that too. Thanks. I guess Zicam is another must, and a few of the other suggestions too.

Where are you.
Has your weather been warm then cold.
I developed the most awful allergies/sinus a couple years ago, didn't realize it until I keep getting the same awful cold for a couple years running. Never had an allergy in my life.
We gargle with warm salt water for sore throats and do the salt water snort for sinus, just dip a finger and snort it.
My brother developed them too. He started yapping about alfalfa tablets. I put it off until I was given a bottle. Dang if they won't get rid of most sinus headaches (top of the head and behind the eyes) in moments!
Gosh, I hope you feel better, I can almost feel how awful you feel! : (

When I was in Germany these past few months I had a cough that wouldn't go away. One day a German lady told me to take ginger spice (about a tablespoon size) and stir it into boiling water. Then add honey....a shot of whiskey and drink it. It loosens congestion...

I've been running Pittsburgh/Denver simulations on Madden all day, since I don't feel like moving around much. Yeah, I have an X-Box in my bedroom, so what? Its not like I'm obsessed or anything...

Just don't give the ball to Bettis on 1st and Goal and you'll be OK ;)

Add 2 tsps. honey to a fifth of Jack Daniels and drink it. It won't cure the cold but you won't feel it. The following day, you'll have such a hangover you'll forget about the cold.
Seriously, hope you get to feeling better.

X-Box is playing both sides to make it fair. I just want to know who is going to win the real one. So far, Pittsburgh has won 12 times, Denver only twice.

All you NEED is SAMBUCOL...trust me on that one...I've stopped a cold or flu dead in it's track with SAMBUCOL...Elderberry is the active ingredient...Israeli doc isolated that active ingred. and SAMBUCOL is potent...eastern europeans make elderberry wine...they drink a lot of it...go to bed wake up the next morning all well. Elderberry has always been known as a poor man's medicine.
