Last week, my wife, my son, and I realized that my 12 year old daughter is a younger, less technically capable, Chloe clone.
I can hardly wait for the full onset of teenager-dom./ shudder

I'm the same as you with the TV. We pay almost $50/month for DirecTV, and despite all of the channels, there is nothing but crap to watch. I will occasionally watch the Military Channel or one of the Discovery channels, but the amount of commercial interruptions gets too annoying, and I soon turn it off.
When you watch 24, the time FLYS. Try it out this Monday, I think you'll like it.

I am a grown up 37 yr old version (or close to it) of Chloe (which is why I like her so much). I was an anti-social techno-geek (but not as technically advanced as Chloe) as a kid and teenager, but I grew out of it (mostly) in my twenties. I am also happily married. Your daughter should be fine.

Okay, just kidding on that last part.
The best one..
So I sets me VCR on Saturday to catch the 2 hour premier on Sunday, 24 hours before 24 came on. Then, being a diligent vid, I set my VCR to record Monday's 24 season opener which was 24 hours after the first 2 hour premier of 24.
Then Sunday the NFL playoff went over and I lost the last 15 mins of 24. So I waited 24 hours for the Monday 24 to record because they give a synops of the previous 24, which aired 24 hours earlier.
Then I got a 24 can case of brewski's of my favorite vintage and watched 3 hours and 45 mins of the 4 hours of 24, but it only took 3 hour and 10 mins or so because i have commercial advance.
But luckily I had 12 extra cans of beer that complimented the original 24.
So in 108 hours from now another 24 will air but only 1 hour of the 24 season.
woowoo....
That would never happen in my house! Hubby knows who is in charge. :)
That's sad....
