Here's my recap: It's not clear how much time we have til Iran decides to test its nuclear capability.
The Euros are all "starry eyed" about the situation - can't count on them...surprise!! Sure...
We can help the regime's opponents, but no mistake, they do need our help, and that cannot be the only route to take.
Military action on our part is inevitable. We would probably work with the Israelis..in some fashion...as contingency, or more directly at the outset.
Obviously, Israel, first, then the US, are the most threatened, if you take the Iran nutcase at his word.
When talking about the Israelis, I was struck by something Perle formulated...
Which is riskier/bolder? For Israelis to take pre-emptive action, or wait? It would be the latter, he argues. Of course world public opinion would likely pronounce the first option as riskier, IMO.
Good grief! I hope no one was hurt!
Good recap, Molly.
Busy day here and it's windy as all get out so it will be a bad hair day :-)
Oh my. Stay safe, Nita.
HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JTILL!!! HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JTILL!!!
Of all the graphics floating around in cyberspace, we manage to pick the same one!
Incredible.
Yes, VERY great minds do think alike.;^)
Peach, I forgot one implied detail: Perle said military action was inevitable, because that regime would not willingly give up its nuclear program, and furthermore, whatever the regime is making public & open, you can bet it has more programs and facilities, hidden, and so forth.
The news you posted about Iran is distrubing at the least. I already knew it , but it is really disturbing to read minds greater than mine are in agreement. ((sigh))
Doggie, good luck withthe house. What an exciting time for you!
Hi Neets! Long time no talk.
Good morning ATRW. This is the first time my schedule allows me to post on Wednesday, so please excuse my tardiness.
Good morning, JT! Enjoyed seeing your parents on Sunday!
Good morning JT!
lysie ~~~ if you've got to go pick up your MIL, I sure hope that ice you talked about last night is gone. Take care, sweetie, and always remember that we're here for you!
Would you mind putting me on the ping list? That would be great. I'm glad you enjoyed having dinner with my parents. I've tried to train them well.
Happy Birthday from Covenant College. May God bless and keep you today.
And I'll be delighted to add you to the ping list.
If anyone would like to be added to or removed from the list, please let me know.

It was a unanimous decision!
Here is the CNN take (from AP) on that decision:
High court dodges abortion ruling
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Supreme Court ruled unanimously Wednesday that a lower court was wrong to strike down New Hampshire abortion restrictions, steering clear of a major ruling on whether such laws place an undue burden on women.
And now, tiring of talking to myself and needing to actually get some work done today, I will take my leave of the thread for now. BBL tonight, I hope.
