Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And there are many paths to tread
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I still wanna see Samwise have a l'il "come to Jesus" meeting with Jack Bauer.
That'd be just beautiful.

I hold Rosie responsible.
She needs to keep her man in check! *laughing*

Suuuure...you're always trying to claim him, but the moment he misbehaves, he's *my* problem?? Heh...

What's on the agenda today?
I have to go by the office and see if they caught Mr. Beepy last night - he was being awful, so I called, but I managed to get to sleep before he shut off his music.

On the agenda for today:
1. LOTS more unpacking and organizing
2. A visit to the hardware store to get various small things, including contact paper for the cabinets so I can put the dishes 'n that away.
3. Calling the various temp agencies, or at least one - if they ask me to come in for skill tests, I don't want to tackle all of them in one day.
I'm hoping if I go through Kelly, I can just say I worked for them before and not have to go through a major rigamarole, but we shall see.

I like Sean Astin but he seems miscast in that role. He just seems to be too young to be called into the position of bossing Buchannon around
Nah, he's not miscast at all. He acts just the way my last boss did (kind of looks like him too.) Not to worry though, Buchannon will prevail!!

Heh...that's what I was saying last night. I worked for him...
I got in beeeeg trouble with him one time because I questioned a statement of his in a meeting. Got taken into his office and yelled at for being disrespectful and insubordinate and all that. I had to go through meetings with HR for a bit, but they were all saying "We know how he is..."
I think in his case, he was new to being a boss and really unsure of himself, and therefore tried to be controlling. I think. It was vey uncomfortable, in any case.

I've given up any hope that he will be part of next season.
He needs the boot in a bad way!

Maybe he'll have a breakdown and then be a good boy afterwards.
But I kinda doubt it.
To: RMDupree
At least he pretty well saved Jack's life once...that buys him a little, I suppose.

Not to worry though, Buchannon will prevail!! Interesting isn't it? When Bill came on last season, I didn't like him at first. He's turning out to be one of the better CTU directors.
Speaking of which...have they forgotten that Tony is still downstairs in the clinic?
(I'm not really here)

Those kind of bosses are a nightmare, just a nightmare. In my case, the boss had ~some one else~ he wanted in my job; and the only way that would happen was if I was removed. It worked out okay, OB and I had a 100% increase in quality time!!
To: RosieCotton
Losing that key card is going to finish him off, IMHO.

He's not dead. He's just restin'.
Don't worry. I don't really see you. ;-)

When Buchanan was trying to distract him so Audrey could help Chloe decript the files, did you hear that Buchanan said something about checking on a room/area that would require the key card? That's when Samwise really started going ballistic.
I wonder where they're gonna go with that part of the plotline.
To: RosieCotton
The crackhead will prolly sell it to someone he shouldn't. :-/

One of these days they have to catch him... sheesh.
