Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And there are many paths to tread
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I can't keep up with both. I've tried. :-/
I do go back and read what was said during certain key moments after the show is over. Plenty of good laughs in those posts.

LSA can, I can't, so I catch up after the show.

On the occasions that I've attempted to watch and post to the thread, I always ended up missing something. Grrr...
Finally I gave up.

Even if I could, I don't think I'd try to do the live thread live.... the show's too intense.
I'm gonna hit the couch now... see y'all in the morning!

Woo hoo! What an episode!
Live thread is saying that President Keeler died in season 4. I'm thinkin' they never said he actually did, but invoked the 25th Amendment because he was incapacitated. Seems like there should have been a reference to him.
'nite folks. I'm goin' dark.

Some one asked Chuck Norris and Jack Bauer which was the most bada$$.
Chuck laughed, and then roundhouse-kicked the questioner in the face.
Jack looked grim, and shot him.
Then Chuck and Jack went off and had a beer, and Jack gave Cheney his gun back.

It was a very exciting episode! I was "woo-hoo"-ing and bouncing around on the couch when Martha got in the limo.
This is gonna be interesting! :-)
Mornin' everyone!

Interesting indeed..
Meanwhile... Rudy puts his entire staff in holding cells.
I like Sean Astin and all, but he seems miscast in that role. He just seems to be too young to be called into the position of bossing Buchannon around. Part of that's intended I think... He's supposed to be young and inexperienced and losing it... but he doesn't even seem to be in the ball park!
