Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And there are many paths to tread
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Help...I keep gettin' this script error message...
file://C:\Documents and Settings\Corin\Local Settings\Temp\NDr96.tmp.html
When I find the file and delete it, it comes back again and changes the extenstion NDr96 to NDr97...etc.
~seems~ to only happen between Comcast and FR. I've run all the scans/cleanup I know to run...

Question: what is giving you this message? Under what circumstances are you seeing it?

When I'm logged on. If I go now and click on the icon to go to my home page (which is Comcast) I'll get it. Sometimes I'll get it when I come back to FR.
I haven't noticed getting it on other sites.

Actually, it appears I'm only getting it when I go to Comcast.
Could it be a problem on ~their~ end? I mean, we all know Comcast ~never~ has/causes problems...

I'm guessing the message appears as a popup or warning of some kind? What does the actual message say?

I can't get a screen shot of it, but it's an Interent Explorer Script Error...
An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 11
Char: 1
Error: Object expected
Code: 0
URL (then the URL I posted above)
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

Is this your personal home portable, or does someone use this at work/school?
What you're seeing is something that may have come in via MS Messenger (NOT MSN Messenger!)
What virus protection are you using ... Norton or McAfee?
To: Rose in RoseBear; Corin Stormhands
Researching... not finding much yet, but all the reports so far seem to be somehow connected with Norton.

This is the home PC.
I use Hauri ViRobot and The Shield firewall. Just had to reboot Comcast 'cause we got kicked off (took several tries). Wife still can't get a wireless connection.
It's telling her the wireless is now firewalled.

Hmmm... all the hits I'm finding are related to scripting problems with the page itself.
Cleared the cache and such? No help?

I'm debating encouraging him to wait to find someone else until after huntin...er prom season... Huntin' season is quite accurate.
I, meanwhile, helped my brother move this weekend. Urgh - I *hurt.* They have lots of big heavy furniture and boxes and boxes of books. But I'm thankful to have them closer by. His commute to work is much shorter now and they're in a much better neighborhood.
Now where's my ibuprofen.....
