I'm sitting here taking deep breaths and trying to remain calm.
All I'm going to say is the information from Steve's advisor about not having to take another 2 hours his last semester to graduate appears to have been pulled right from the advisor's ass.
Steve is checking in to it.
And it's been two weeks since he turned the thesis in to his committee. Waiting for word.
Don't know what time SirKit's plane got away in the wee hours. The phone rang about 1 am, and caller ID said it was his cell phone, but when I answered it I couldn't hear anything. He must have calling to tell me they were finally boarding, and reception was bad, because I waited for a couple of hours and he didn't come home. He'd said that if they didn't leave last night that he'd come on home. So I'm assuming that he has made it to Seattle. He'll call me sometime during the day to let me know he made it there safely.
Wow! We were at 15 degrees this morning, but we gots about 20" of snow on the ground to account for that! They're saying we'll be up in the 40's on Friday, but that it's back in the deep freeze next week. That will be good news for all the skiing families in the area. The kids have School vacation next week, and we got a LOAD of snow at all the ski resorts yesterday. Those places are gonna be PACKED next week.
Looks like a great day for traveling!
Sounds like that advisor needs the snot beat out of him! Praying for a good outcome on the thesis!!

Heh heh...not a bad idea, but actually...I'm being successful at staying calm. His advisor told him he didn't need to the two hours. The secretary over the department in Stillwater says he does...
I'm in a "wait and see" mode...
But the advisor is obviously a moron. I hope I never meet him or I might loose my Christian witness all over the place.

Someday, Steve *is* going to graduate...but this has really been a trial. I don't talk about it every day...but it's on my mind every single day.
