Could put up a few more double-wides ...
Well, I just gave my two-cents to a newbie...guess I'll log off for the weekend now.
See ya!
We got room for a few more double-wides :~D Come on up :~D
Well I met her out at Murphy's restaurant
She said she was fresh from the farm
And I remember thinkin' for a country girl
That she went pretty well armed
We sat there talkin' by the lobster tank
I ordered her a slow gin fizz
And when them chicken fried steaks arrived
She said "I like living like this."
So I made her the queen of my double wide trailer
With the polyester curtains and the redwood deck
Sometimes she runs off and I've got to trail her
Dang her black heart and her pretty red neck
Well a few nights later I run into her
With some stranger on a park bench
She said he rebuilds engines and his name is Earl
He's the Charlie Daniels of the torque wrench
I whispered "Honey let's just go on home
And have some onion rings and watch TV."
And as I walked her to the truck
Earl was cryin' "Don't you leave me!"
I told him...
"This is the queen of my double wide trailer
With the polyester curtains and the redwood deck
Sometimes shes runs and I've got to trail her
Dang her black heart and her pretty red neck."
Hmmm...could help, huh? :-)
Heh, I stopped at the grocery store after picking up Joseph and getting the van gassed up. There were lots of folks, but I know it will be worse in the morning! There were quite a few folks in the likker store too! Hey, if you're stuck in the house... I got three different bottles of Chilean Sauv. Blanc to see which I like the best, and a couple of bottles of Reisling for SirKit.
Joseph can bring in some firewood in the morning, and we'll be good to go! ;o)
In the morning, Clare and I are helping the Town Unit unload Girl Scout cookies for the different troops to collect. Glad the snow is holding off til the afternoon!
WooHoo!! Rosie could get in on the ground floor of that; no pun intended.
Redmond is a different life than here... but it ain't a bad gig if you can get it. :~D
There ya go, Rose!! One Hobbit Hole Compound, coming up!
I figure if nothing else, some folks who are in between the Tacoma/Olympia area and Seattle may jump for Microsoft jobs and leave stuff behind fer me. ;-)
I've been applying for jobs this week...hopefully I hear back on some right around the time I get there. *fingers crossed*
I probably should redo my resume for each application. *sigh* It's a pain in the butt, though.
Mmm...compound...
Big'ol has already put *all* of the hockey games on the TiVo... hehhehee
I thought the compound was supposed to be a little less... dunno... close to civilization.
Hair: double hugs for the Tweekster; poor kitty. OB & LSA
Well, you can be 'close to' civilization without being right smack dab IN it!
Sue has two powers: she can turn invisible, and also generate invisible force fields.
Most excellent, Rosie!
Everything's coming together. :-)
Now all you need is a job at Microsoft. *wink*
You gonna go work for Microsoft too Ruthy?
With any luck, chica - I sure will. ;-)
