Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And there are many paths to tread
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Not here for long. We're going to see Hairspray. It's the next to last one of this year's Broadway series.
We hates not being here during the day...

I'm thinking Jen should see this show. She could get some ideas for bridesmaid dresses...

It's more wrong than you think. The tall one is a ~guy~. Harvey Fierstein is playing that role on Broadway.

Well, there's plenty of cross-dressers on American Idol too!

So sometimes on the way up to my office I leave my coat and hat in the lab since it is on the way. Lately people have been in there late so it was never an issue. But today no one is there and they locked it up... with my coat which has my car keys in the pocket. And it is about 32 out there.... heh :P
Good thing I have the home number of a guy that should know the code to that lock...

I think she is trying to make sure the dresses don't earn her reciprocal dress abuse from her sisters.
To: Corin Stormhands
Oh, dear. My sisters would kill me. They have informed me very clearly of what they expect me to follow as far as style guidelines :-)

Puffy sleeves and a big, wide bow on the back.

I gather Jack is one tough cookie, to say the least!"24" Season 3 spoilers:
In Season 3, Jack Bauer addicted himself to heroin to give himself an "in" while investigating a Latin American drug kingpin. Later in that season, he killed a bad-guy-turned-government-witness, just so he could cut off the guy's head and deliver it to the drug kingpin as proof of his loyalty... ...end spoiler.

I'm getting the impression that this Jack Bauer guy is not the world's greatest employee. "24" Season 1 spoiler:
In Season 1 (in fact, in the very first episode IIRC) Jack Bauer tasered his own boss so that he could use the special-access computers in his boss's office... ...end spoiler.

This is the problem with having sisters, rather than friends, as bridesmaids. Friends will do what you say and hate you. Sisters will beat you up the day before the wedding so you have a black eye in all the pictures.

I'm getting the impression that this Jack Bauer guy is not the world's greatest employee.I was just reminded that in Season 3 of "24"... Jack Bauer shot and killed his boss to keep terrorists from releasing a bioterror weapon! (end spoiler)
