so it was a crapfest, huh? :-)
Actually... I'm surprised they'd let those folks skate and do all those moves. It strikes me as really dangerous for somebody that doesn't have a lifetime of training.

Talk about needing a lifetime of experience, or maybe just a blast from the past...
Took the kids rollerskating on Friday. Karateboy did fine. I managed to get bittygirl and myself into skates and onto the floor. I didn't fall down, but I did seriously consider my sanity! After falling twice, bittygirl declared herself done and removed her skates (which were duct taped onto her feet so they wouldn't fall off).

I never wanted to live close to my parents, and thus far have not. Now that I have kiddos, and live within 60 miles, though, it would be nice living closer to my mother. I wouldn't mind the same neighborhood, just not next door.
