Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And there are many paths to tread
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I am happy to report I have indeed confirmed the existence of the Doofus Factor through expirimental means. My 1/2 hour store the ladder project took exactly 1 day. {e.g. double the coefficient, and increment the time unit}

Interesting horse quiz - I got trail/pleasure 83% and hunter 83%, tie breaker question apparently kicked it trail/pleasure.
Wonder how the dwarves will score on it?

And you were able to add a shower to the garage!

Someone should change that Visine to ClearEyes and photoshop Ben Stein's face over Saruman's!

It took until now before she had strength to travel. Wow. I'm so glad you're both home safe and mostly sound.
Give Jeanne my best!

A utility sink has always been in the plans, but a shower, nope.

You scored as Trail/Pleasure. You are a trail and/or pleasure horse. You don't neccesarily like the structure of shows, but love to be outside in the woods or just going around the ring in a pleasure ride. You are very relaxed and pretty much nothing scares you. You are the horse that is chosen when people just want a break from the difficulties in life.

I'm no football fan, but I am going to have so much fun this week assuming the Steelers win the game - I know lots of Broncos fans who are going to be very sad. Makes me wish I had something in Pittsburgh colors. :-D

Vey nice job ont he ladder storing!
We've been in the garage this afternoon, too, moving frap around. We got the support lumber for the new deck off the trailer and into SirKit's side of the garage. He wanted to get the trailer off the driveway and around the side of the house.
It's supposed to start snowing in the morning and we're expecting 4-7". Joseph, of course, is thrilled, cause it's likely to mean no school for him. Not sure about for Clare. She's supposed to start her Eng. Comp. class at the Comm. College tomorrow afternoon. It may be cancelled, as well. Just depends on the accumulation by 4pm.
