I was just watching the news today where the NFL made a determination that the call was wrong, and could very well have been a game changer. I.E. they would have possibly replayed the game!!!
IMO, TP intercepted the ball. Having said that, the only ones Indy has to blame is Indy itself. They should have done those things neccessary to avoid getting into a catch-up game. They sleepwalked for two and a half quarters. By then, it was almost too late. Manning was rattled early. He had happy feet and when that happens, he loses. It shouldn't have come down to a blown call and game saving tackle by Big Ben. I'm no fan of either of those teams. Indy didn't take care of business early and Pittsburgh just wanted it more and played like it. Pittsburgh/Denver should be fun. Just hope the zebras are better than those at Indy.
They wouldn't have replayed the game, they didn't replay the Giants Niners game after admitting they blew the call late. The NFL stance is that once the game is over the game is over and if a ref blew a call that changed the outcome of the game well that's sad but we must move on.
That would never hapen.
