for Tammy
We need to start a thread when his show airs on CNN. It would be a fun one.
Elliott's SAFE!!!!
What great news. We get to hear him again. ":^)
Technically she wouldn't be able to get in his face. Something would be in the way. :) LOL
ROFL!
Orbison would be a great choice for Hicks--he needs a great choice.
But apparently next week's theme is "Songs of the 21 Century"--no song older than 6 years. I don't know how Hicks will adapt to that.
Yes...it would.
I will have to stock up on duct tape!!! LOL
It starts in April, right?
I know I was so happy he was safe. I felt sorry for Kevin in a way but he was the logical one to leave tonight. Bucky doesn't have a better voice but he is older and could really use the opportunity of the tour.
Its worth a lot to the paying customers like myself, will take my daughters again this summer and wasn't looking forward to two or three numbers from Chicken Little.
Congrats, doodlelady. I knew you would be a happy camper tonight.
I am equally as glad that Bucky gets to stay and be in the top ten and go on tour.
Tonight was very satisfying.
(Though not for Kevin's mama.)
I think the coma thing was a joke.
BTW...I found a FR thread on the show.
If Sandler shaved his head and used some instant tanning lotion...
Yes! Speaking of Duct tape did you hear him talking about the LeFave chick? I just love Glenn.
actually, that was a real report yesterday, that Hayes has been ill.
I thought the top 12 get to go on tour?
I was laughing so hard I had to pull over.
Glenn was great on the Christmas tour too. I saw him this year.
We gotta start a thread for the TV show.
You did? I need to find that. I would love to be on the ping list.
NO...shoot---I missed his whole show today.
I missed his take on AI..and her, dang!
I just did a search for "South Park."
But I don't think it's going to be weekly. Just a special thread.
Emily, if you can find it and you love Roy Orbison, please do pick up 'Black and White Night.' If I could share my copy I'd send one to you and Jonny. This is Orbison at his absolute best. It's the only commercially available live Orbison performance, and he was joined by a number of his friends in the music business. It's from 1987. He was joined by Jackson Browne, T Bone Burnett, Elvis Costello, k.d. lang, Bonnie Raitt, J.D. Souther, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, and Jennifer Warnnes. There are some FABULOUS guitar riffs on it, including a 6:35-minute-long performance of 'Pretty Woman' that ends with a long guitar riff.
I first came across it when PBS starting using the video of 'Black and White Night' for their fund-raising drives. It's enthralling. Right now as I type this, I'm listening to 'Go, Go, Go (Down the Line,' which has GREAT guitar work by all those wonderful guitarists.
Oh man I would love to see his Christmas tour.! I want to get his Fusion magazine too. I need to do that soon because I want to read the quotes from the terrorists vs. hollyweird. How long of a show did he perform for the tour?
