Those tours must be awful....synchronized dance numbers....extreme cheese.....no way I'd ever go.
My 11 year old daughter went to the concert last year. She went with her best friend and the friends mother. It was both girls first concert. They both loved every minute of it.
Obviously, it isn't a Springsteen concert but it is very nonthreatening environment for a first concert.

I think you are right... It think it will come down to Chris and Mandisa, with Chris winning. Chris has a very large group of voters. (maybe not on FR, though)
Most (I say most, not all) folks who are 45 and under will be interested in seeing Chris win.

A ten year old watching this probably thought, "Even I know what 'ballsy' means."I'm not saying a 7-yr-old would know the term, but we do live in an age when 7-year-old like that little girl last night are quite poised. When they hit puberty (which people who study these things say is happening earlier than in past generations), they begin to learn terms stronger than ballsy pretty quickly.
