It wasn't good, but wasn't mohawk bad either. LOL!!! He needs to really let 'er rip next week though. He needs to give us some Ray Charles. It's what we've all been waiting for.

Remember Nadia Turner's Mohawk last year?

Yes, and we have never heard from her again.

I could write a book, trust me! After trhe buffalo incident she couldn't believe my brother was so mad at her for doing something so dumb. The buffalo was starting to stamp it's foot and snorting. Bad signs in wildlife! She actually said, "They are used to people!" It's state park, not a petting zoo!

Yes I am. I'm voting for Chris, Taylor and Kelly.

I almost wish we could vote for one person to leave instead of whom we wanted to stay. Someone as talented as Eliot, who has the potential to keep improving, could get lost by being lots of people's second favorite, and no one's choice to vote for. And I'd also want Mandesa to stick around (in addition to your three faves).

It would be interesting if we could vote for who we wanted to leave instead of who we wanted to stay.

That's why I voted 3 times. Elliott is good but he doesn't have the curb appeal as the other three I voted for.

Here's my list, in order. Keep in mind that this is based on TONIGHT only. Taylor, Chris and McPhee are still my favorites...

1) Mandisa - best vocal all night. The girl's got lungs to go with that butt!
2) McPhee - Only Katherine Zeta-McPhee could pull off Ella Fitzgerald! Bravo!
3) Kelli May Gherkin - Perfect comeback from last week! Did her "own" with the Patsy classic.
4) Elliott "Mr. Tumnus" - Best male VOCAL of the night. Should have done better song choice because most "regular folks" will miss it.
5) Taylor - I love this guy, but the song was freakin 5 notes! He'll step it up next week!
6) Lisa - Sweet girl with a nice voice. She "had fun" with the song but not her best week.
7) Chris - The dude rocks...but there's something not right about Johnny Cash done like Creed. This guy's got his own "style" but it's starting to get old with me. (I still have him in the top 3)
8) Kevin - Good old Chicken Little. If you just "listen" to him his voice isn't bad. Much better than last week but I miss the lisp. (Shtarry Shtarry night...)
9) Paris - The girl can sing, but following Mandisa was like comparing tenderloin steak to a can of spam.
10) Bucky - I like this dude. But tonight was like bad Karaoke.
11) G'Ace - "Still of the night" should have stayed in bed. It's like a bad "boy band" singer trying to be George Michael without testicles.

That's the way I see it.

Me too. I was sitting here for a few minutes trying to think of ways to write out the rest of the sounds.

He is what he is....

Worked pretty good for Chris by sticking to what he does well at. They tend to look bad when they go off the reservation.

Taylor's dancing wouldn't have been as noticeable if his song was good--and I don't know who put him in that Matlock suit. And white loafers.

Simon was right. "That was a complete mess."

And this would have been the PERFECT night to sing a Ray Charles song--but again, he chose not to. Frustrating.

she just exudes niceness...you know what I mean? She just seems like a fun, nice, loving woman...someone I'd really like to sit down and have a cup of coffee with!

Mandisa? I know exactly what you mean :) She's one of the most unpretentious singers in the competition. She's one of my favorites.

There is a part of me that is wondering if he wants to not win....I have heard some of his songs and he really is GOOD. But 2 of his performances do not even compare to what he does out in the real world. People in this area that have heard him are always saying that he is good, really good....but based on tonight, I can't see it, you know. That's why I wonder do you think he just wants the exposure but not be tied to AI? Maybe i need to take off my tinfoil.

That's for sure. Some of their choices are puzzling to say the least. Remember Bo's ironed hair?
