People are taking issue with the diet and fitness thread I started. I put a stern warning against name calling, nasty pictures and keywords, so that people wouldn't be afraid to post there and it wouldn't degenerate into a fat-bashing thread.

Mandisa was better. A lot better...

LOL. I have a record player too. I use it around the holidays, mostly. I can't find some of the best songs on CD yet.

But she sings like a 60-year-old in a teenage body. She really does. She's a younger version of her own grandma.

I feel the same way. It's almost unfair, since she already has an "in" into the industry.
IMHO, AI should be for folks that need a shot into the business.

She really does. She's a younger version of her own grandma.Exactly, and that's why I don't enjoy Paris despite her talent.

Apparently, I'm a control freak and no fun. LOL--who said that? I don't know about the "control freak" part, but you're definitely one of the funnest Freepers I know!

Chris is my pick to win. Very talented, and fun to look at.
Don't shoot me, but I really like Kelly Pickler. I know a lot of ya'll think she's a tart. Sure, she hams it up for the camera a bit, but her country girl personality has been the same since we first saw her. I think she's funny.
To: Wolfstar
Chris is going to sing a "modern" version of Walk The Line ... we'll see.

You are so right. You are my Freeper mentor. Freeptor? That sounds like a comic book hero. LOL!

Depending on the song, Chris could finally be stepping out of his comfort zone. He could also fall into the trap of being compared to the original and coming up short. Hope this works...
