Look at this--50 pages of CompUSA customer complaints.

Look at this--50 pages of CompUSA customer complaints.

I'm surprised it's only 50 pages. From the 2nd or 3rd one I read: Shipping tracking does not exist. Exactly! I made a similar comment in my letter to the CEO. I know I won't get an answer. I didn't even ask for anything in the letter. Just pointed out how easy the internet makes it for us little folk to spread the word far and wide about crappy customer service.

I'll add my comments to those 50 pages.

And in the first comment, the guy called them "CrapUSA" too, LOL

I don't think he's gay either (and if you look at my various posts, you'll see I never said that). I totally agree with you that Ace is probably the victim of a Liberal Education (and I guess AI is his telethon! LOL!). But it's obvious that many people *do* think that and don't particularly like it. Therefore I think he should avoid "effeminate" songs like the plague, if he wants to win. If, OTOH, he wants to become the new Judy Garland, by all means, he should keep doing those Michael Jackson falsetto things ....

Ace lacks fire. His singing seems a little damp.

Maybe Manilow can get him going. Now there's a guy with plenty of fire. And I don't mean the flaming kind. Star quality, whether you like him or not. He has that inner light, drive, that makes every note he sings seem important.

Well, maybe the flaming kind too but that's another topic.

I'm thinking Rod Stewart might be involved when they get around to doing standards [i.e. Cole Porter, Gershwin, etc].

That's been the thrust of his last couple of albums.

Too bad there not doing Barry's songs.

I was hoping to hear Chicken Little sing:

"I write the thsongs that make the whole world sthing."

If it's Barry Manilow next time, Kevin may make it through another week. I thought he did a decent job singing "Vincent", and Manilow has some songs that should work fairly well with respect to tempo and vocal range for Covais.

I thought he did a good job on 'Vincent' as well. Though you may hear from the whiners, that you think Kevin does any song decently.

Elliot SHOULD shine, but my expectations for him are falling because he seems to have trouble injecting much life into a song.

Ditto. But, at least there is a good chance we might recognize the song for a change.

Ace should be able to find a 'show tune' to do. ;)

...and if you want elevator music, vote for Elliot. Talk about getting the granny vote.

But, its true, people have their own likes and dislikes. :)

Aren't we supposed to vote in who is BEST?

When you get to the final week, you will get the best, just watch. Or at least close to it, DeGarmo did come in second, but it happens.

Now....I think our freind Chicken Little will probably bid us fairwell unless he has a great song this week OR someone else really bombs.

Yeah. He's at least memorable with his good natured joking. He knows he isn't a sex symbol, but it was funny when Paula said it and he about choked then laughed and said, oh yeah. Him and Ryan laughing. With so many forgettables, he could make it another week. Going to be interesting. :)

Ok, How come there isn't a thread for THIS show? There should be, IMO...

Thursday, March 16 at 8/7c
"Episode 101"
SERIES PREMIERE
This exciting series from Simon Cowell and the producers of American Idol about the biggest search ever for America's best new invention will premiere with a two-hour special, with coverage of open casting calls in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. Viewers will see inventors all of all ages present their most prized inventions, featuring everything from the wacky to the heart warming.

**So far, it's pretty cool and a thread on this would be better and than the one for AI. Great posting material here...

Not true. Kevin has become rather full of himself as of late and his behavior off the set is that of someone who believes the hype that he is being fed. I have heard this from people who have had a chance to observe him and his parents in public. Bucky, Elliott, Chris and Taylor are all down to earth guys and Ace is pretty well liked amoung people.

Kevin is letting it all get to his head.

I agree. Just goes to show the talent in B'ham...:) Which begs the question, Why haven't they come here for one of their audition shows. There are plenty of stages, arenas they could use. There is an airport for the contestants to fly to....

From that fifties list, Elliott should sing "It's All In The Game", or any other Nat "King" Cole song.

I suppose we could have a lively debate over whom TexasFlower would be backing this year. I think she would LOVE Taylor Hicks. And Mandisa.

Maybe we could ask Tx Flower to give us a sign telling us who to vote for.
