He sort of looks like Dean Cain in the bottom picture. I wasn't going to say this, but in those pics, Ace looks a little like Scott Peterson (who was played by Dean Cain in a TV movie, IIRC :o)

I feel the same as you about Paris and Lisa, but I just don't see anyone else I would rate good enough to be in the #6 spot.
I like Bucky, but he is a one trick pony. I Love melissa'a smokey sound, but forgetting your lyrics is an unforgivable sin. Pickler, beautiful girl that is all. Kevin, don't make me laugh. And I already said where i stand with Face.
Personally I think it is down to Chris, Taylor, Mandisa and Katherine. Eliot is my favorite voice, but until he does something WOW! he is not going to crack those 4.

...but in those pics, Ace looks a little like Scott Peterson...More than a little, I think. Maybe that's why Ace let his hair grow out.

I hope one of these weeks they let Taylor play his harmonica and sing a true, old-time blues songThat might be the nuclear option for Hicks, like Bo's a cappella performance last year. Blew everyone away.

I was lurking over at the AI boards earlier today and people seemed more annoyed with Paris' singing then Kellie's act- at least from what I saw That is what I have seen today too on various blogs. The Pickle is about 50/50 among bloggers, but almost everyone is sick of Lil Magic (Paris) and her Ghetto act (IT DO IT DO). The girl is from one of the most affluent areas of Atlanta and attends one of the best schools in Georgia.

The only way taylor will get to play the harp is in one of the group sings or in the finals like they did with Carrie and BO where both were on stage with guitars together.

Let's here it for the man who I still think isn't leveling with us about his true age ( Am I going to be in trouble with the PETGHA ? ( People for the Ethical Treatment of Gray Haired Artists ) ? Talyor Hicks, 29, Birmingham, Alabama ( with a question mark after the 29 ). Do you think AI checks birth certificates or some type of ID that would show age?

That might be the nuclear option for Hicks, like Bo's a cappella performance last year. Blew everyone away.Although I'm a huge Kelly Clarkson fan, as you know, Bo's a cappella performance is my favorite AI performance ever. Taylor doing a bluesy tune with a bit of harmonica would probably top it.

Wow!! Creepy!Ace is better looking than Peterson, and Ace has that cute chin dimple. But I can understand why Ace would let his hair grow out to avoid the comparison.

My college roomie was gray in COLLEGE! Both of his parents were white-haired....looked like Mr. and Mrs. Claus. (Not kidding one bit.) The grey is believable for me.

Lisa seems to be thier outlier so far though. She was dead last last week too with Kinnik, Ayla right above her. They did nail Will & Gideon though last week. So with that in mind, Ace and Kevin should be sweating tonights results. Maybe that's why they pulled the plug. Dial Idol was a little too accurate for their liking. Hard to fudge the numbers for who they want, if you have a source that has a fairly accurate history and might raise questions.

You would think after all of these years they would do background checks or something on these people. But as we can see from the Brittnum twins incident I guess they don't.

She's a brainy little fox in minx' clothing. You don't survive daddy being a jailbird without an arsenal of wily wit. Very good point.
Her grandpa has been interviewed on the local news a couple of times. He's a real salt-of-the-earth kind of man, but the Gherkin has managed to wrap him around her little finger. That probably started when she was in diapers.
