Pittsburgh vs. Indianapolis 1:00 PM EST
Carolina vs. Chicago 4:30 PM EST
Who was the guy that make the throat slash taunt? I know they banned it but he's long gone too. He was drafted really high.
Game on!
Peyton, "we had protection problems."
My assessment, "Pittsburgh defense shakes up Peyton Manning."
I picked it up from a Mark Steyn article.
He did blame himself and Like I said, he touched on the subject of the line and let it go. Reporters want the juicy sound bite, they always try to provoke the interviewed person into making a slip so that they can report on it.
Did you ever hear Montana, Favre, Marino, Aikman, or any other legendary leader of a quarterback make a statement like that? I think the answer is NO. Peyton is all about Peyton and he won't accept any responsibility for the loss.
Da Bears! Woo Hoo!
Good. The truth comes out. Peyton's a stand up guy, but he's also honest. He's not one to sugercoat things.
Let's all read it and see if it's pr0n.

Side judge David Wyant watches as the 110th Fighter Wing of the Michigan Air National Guard flies over Soldier Field after the playing of the national anthem prior to the start of the NFC divisional playoff football game between the Chicago Bears and Carolina Panthers in Chicago, Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006. That toss to Mohammed didn't look any more dangerous than others I've seen.
"IF" the pass had led him it "MAY" have been intercepted. Well, it wasn't and it didn't.
Yeah, right. Whatever you say. The comment was benign.

Please cite the quote where he blamed himself. The only things I heard him say was that Pittsburgh had a "...good pass rush, but we had prolems with protection." Never heard him make any comment indicating any responsibility for the loss.
LOL! Best post of the thread! My husband (lightingguy) has high blood pressure and I made him check it during the 4th quarter; needless to say, it was a bit high. And his heartrate was 102, which is VERY high for him - resting is usually around 60. But I bet Jerome's was higher, haha.
Whew...
Bears have come to play in second half
My man, Berrian! From my Fresno State.
Da Bears are on the move.
Touchdown...DA BEARS!
