Most of the game was smashmouth defensive football. But things started going Denver's way and the Patriots could do nothing to prevent their chances of "three-peating" from slipping away.
3 INT's and three fumbles recovered by Denver sealed it. The Pats got pounded in Denver tonight! Yeeeeehaaaaaw!
What a season, eh? So many dominant teams. So many greeeeeat games. I can't wait for tomorrow!
Big difference in your team getting its ass kicked and watching it screw the pooch.
Rather obvious which one happened tonight.
So far, the "environmentalist wacko method" is working.
"No way did he cross the goal line before fumbling. The question was when the ball left his hands did it go out of bounds in front off or behind the pylon..."
As if often the case, close calls will exact a toll on one's perspective, especially if it involves a favorite team. As a Broncos fan, I believe that he was excrutiatingly close to breaking the plane. Also, I'm very aware of what the question is regarding the pylon; I knocked over my beer and screamed so loud that my five dogs scattered in all directions away from the living room.
"...which encircles the globe..."
Please clarify what this means. If Vick's TD set the precedent for Bailey's non-fumble/breaking the plane of the endzone, then, yes, it's a touchdown. I think it was some clown from Sports Illustrated who wrote last week (I'm paraphrasing):
Why does a player only have to break the plane of the endzone (as long as he maintains control) for it to be considered a TD even after the ball squirts free, but what appears to be a reception in the endzone is considered incomplete once the receiver hits the ground (referring to Tampa Bay's Edell Shepherd against the Redskins).
Well, that's just the way the ball....fumbles.
When he lost the ball it had broken the plane; when it landed it was beyond the endzone. TD [period].
Yeah, but I'd really like to see Cowher advance. He's such an awesome coach!

G'night. Gotta get rested for tomorrow's games. Go Steelers!
Any other QB for NE would have thrown 5 picks and been sacked at least 5 times with the pressure Denver put on Brady. The guy just amazes me with how he can hang in the pocket and still make the throws with pressure in his face.
Yes, NE turned the ball over but give Denver some credit for causing some of those turnovers. NE fans please take the loss with a bit of grace and humility. If Denver had lost I would have pulled for Brady, not necessarily NE, to continue. I just want to see Indy bite the big one since they have killed my team the last 2 years. Oh, I am the biggest one day Pittsburgh fan tomorrow. Roll BUS!
Not to the refs! You'll get over it eventually!
You tell 'em, darlin'!
TOM BRADY HAHAHAHAHHA!!! I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT! HAHAHA!
TUCK RULE! HAHAHAHA!
I see some poetic justice in the Patriots losing on a controversial call. At the beginning of their Super Bowl success was that game against the Raiders where a bad call allowed them to win the game. They've been a great team and would have won at least one Super Bowl over the past five years regardless, but without the benefit of that bad call, they would have missed one of those wins.

Brady is not a post-season quarterback. His 10-1 record proves my point.
That's just flat out not true. Period!
Well the Raiders are evil. God was punishing them. Atleast that's what Pat Robertson told me. LOL!
