Some of you said a while back they should do this. You asked for it; you got it.

Air America Adds "State Of Belief" For Sundays
AIR AMERICA RADIO adds a new weekend show, "STATE OF BELIEF," hosted by INTERFAITH ALLIANCE leader Rev. Dr. C. WELTON GADDY, for SUNDAYS at 5p ET beginning JANUARY 15. GADDY's first guest will be WALTER CRONKITE; the show will offer discussion of politics and religion.
And that's the way it is.
-- Al Franken Off to Lake Wobegon
Al Franken - who talks Noo Yawk but says he's from Minnesota - has moved himself and his show to Minneapolis.
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Al Franken has moved his radio show from New York City to his home state of Minnesota, but he still isn't ready to announce a U.S. Senate run for 2008.
The comedian and host of "The Al Franken Show" on Air America radio, began broadcasting his show from Minneapolis last week. He says he made the move because, "I just always consider myself a Minnesotan."
While Franken acknowledges the new locale might not bring as many guests into the studio, he won't address whether it's a step toward an eventual Senate candidacy. Franken recently told The Associated Press that he hasn't made a decision yet.
"I think I'll be deciding early to middle 2007," he said. etc.
Cronkite, now there's a conservative voice...NOT!!
ARCHIE: "Edith, what channel is the Cronkite news on?"
EDITH: "Channel 2, Archie. The one we don't watch because you keep saying Walter Cronkite is a Communist."
>>The comedian
_Alleged_ "comedian"

(MTM theme)
You might not make it after all...
You might not make it after all...
To the tune of "Rose Tint My World" from Rocky Horror:
Franken-furter, it's all over
Your network is a failure...your views are too extreme...
...meanwhile, from BoreAmerica.com:
KXXT, Air America's outlet in Phoenix, has been sold to a Christian broadcaster. Therefore, that station will almost immediately be conducting a long-overdue exorcism and Randi, Al, Janeane, Mike, and the rest of the gang will be going off the dry, hot air
he hee!
"He says he made the move because, "I just always consider myself a Minnesotan."
Pound that table, Al.
Check out The Rude Guy's podcast. He bills himself as "pro-male, anti-corporate, and anti-Bush" and promises to "offend everybody." He honestly wants critique. Folks at my site have critiqued the sound quality. Anybody want to take him on for debating content?
I think someone already raided this thread for pictures, LOL. There were some good ones. Thanks.
Ah yes...I've been busy, er, _here_ :)
Latest Boston ratings:
WRKO (conservatalk) 4.5
WTKK (mostly conservative) 2.7
WXKS and WKOX (Air America): 0.7 combined!
The finest line I ever read about AA was last month when their ratings in some market went from a .01 to "not showing"....and a clever poster noted:
"their listener must have moved."
hee-hee
"Therefore, that station will almost immediately be conducting a long-overdue exorcism and Randi, Al, Janeane, Mike, and the rest of the gang will be going off the dry, hot air."
As will Charles Goyette, the morning drive-time guy, who has been a subject of discussions in these threads. Goyette was once the afternoon guy on local KFYI, the local affiliate for Limbaugh and Hannity. Goyette went through a meltdown when his ratings began to slip on KFYI, and he become a loathesome, America-hating boor after that.
It gives me great pleasure, ladies and gentlemen, not to have to listen to Goyette after February 1, 2006.
AA ratings, Charleston SC.
WLTQ - None. Station switched to easy listening, Sept 05. Good move.
