Perhaps the first thing that leaps out is that it's a very Beatle-centric list. "Sgt. Pepper" is No. 1 as it often is in such lists, but two of the top three albums are by the Beatles, three of the first five and four of the first 10.
The first 10 are:
1) "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" by the Beatles 2) "Pet Sounds" by the Beach Boys 3) "Revolver" by the Beatles 4) "Highway 61 Revisited" by Bob Dylan 5) "Rubber Soul" by the Beatles 6) "What's Going On" by Marvin Gaye 7) "Exile on Main Street" by the Rolling Stones 8) "London Calling" by the Clash 9) "Blonde on Blonde" by Bob Dylan 10) "The Beatles" (The White Album) by the Beatles

Listening to Come Together now. Abbey Road is in the top ten.
If live albums are included that should've made the list. I'd also put their first album on a top 100 list. ....and Eat a Peach as well.
Didn't Paul say that?
From what I can tell, this is the complete list:

Now that's music!
"Fabulous Disaster" by Exodus -- Everybody's doing the toxic waltz...
as great as Pink Floyd is and they hardly get a mention
10. "Laid Back" by Greg Allman
you want to hear some of lemmies best stuff you need to score a copy of sam gopal. oh my gosh. incredibaley hipnotic.
These are good albums but mostly overrated.
A little "Canned Heat" never hurt nobody.
Mojo, I am with you on the Stones at their prime. You left off "Get Yer Ya Yas Out," possibly the most gritty, powerful live album ever. I am suprised Floyd's Dark Side hasn't shown up. Certainly in my top five. LZ 2, 4 and Physical Graffiti. Also the Verve's A Northern Soul
Whoa.... I have been a huge fan of early Fleetwood Mac since 1971, and 'Then Play On' is second only to 'English Rose' in my book. (Of course, Peter Green only made three studio albums with FM, plus the Chicago album.) I stuck with them through 'Kiln House', 'Bare Trees', 'Future Games', and even 'Mystery to Me'. Didn't care for 'Penguin' much.
I saw Peter Green in concert with his "Splinter Group" back in 2000 and enjoyed it mostly for the history and nostalgia - - Green played okay and sang a little, but he appeared a little bit older than his years.... The only old stuff he did were the songs 'Albatross', 'Rattlesnake Shake', and 'Black Magic Woman'. But guess who opened for him? John Mayall! Mayall was simply outstanding. Looked and played like he was 35 instead of 65.
I have a feeling that your screen name refers to the old Peter Green song 'The Supernatural'? As you probably know, Green was a major influence on Carlos Santana.
This seems like your sort of thread! lol
When at the last minute they came up with the title, Lennon went home and wrote a song to match it that night. They recorded it the next day:

Some catchy tunes. It had a beat and you could dance to it.
People seem to forget, as they themselves did, that the Beatle started out as a dance band.
It's what they did best, if you ask me.
(Lennon always said Hard Days Night was actually about his son, which is kind of sweet.)
You are a 60's kind of person...Tis good.
ZZ Top's Fandango is better than all of them.
