Perhaps the first thing that leaps out is that it's a very Beatle-centric list. "Sgt. Pepper" is No. 1 as it often is in such lists, but two of the top three albums are by the Beatles, three of the first five and four of the first 10.
The first 10 are:
1) "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" by the Beatles 2) "Pet Sounds" by the Beach Boys 3) "Revolver" by the Beatles 4) "Highway 61 Revisited" by Bob Dylan 5) "Rubber Soul" by the Beatles 6) "What's Going On" by Marvin Gaye 7) "Exile on Main Street" by the Rolling Stones 8) "London Calling" by the Clash 9) "Blonde on Blonde" by Bob Dylan 10) "The Beatles" (The White Album) by the Beatles

I liked the music of the Clash but I wouldn't label them superior musicians or certainly in the same breath as the Beatles. The Clash was very political ("Sandinista" says it all) but they did have some decent cuts like "Working for the Clampdown." Zeppelin's "Physical Graffiti" is probably my favorite album and the Cars' self-titled first album was a monster smash (if for nothing else "Moving in Stereo"). AC/DC's "Back in Black" and the Who's "Who's Next" are other worthy examples.
Time for all the fuddy-duddys to come out and talk about how the Beatles weren't all that good.
This "all time list" is almost exactly the same one as last years ... and yes, I agree Revolver was the real groundbreaking album, while Pepper was just icing on the cake :)
Where's "Ride with Bob" by Asleep at the Wheel?
no LedZep? whatta B.S. list
Top five Bob, imo: 1) Blonde on Blonde ('66), 2) Time Out of Mind ('97), 3) Highway 61 Revisited ('65), 4) Blood on the Tracks ('74), 5) Oh Mercy ('89).
My choice as a favorite Beatles' album is "The White Album" but I can see the reasoning behind other titles being chosen.

Clearly you are forgetting the sage advice of Mike Damone, " And five, now this is the most important, Rat. When it comes down to making out, whenever possible, put on side one of Led Zeppelin IV. "
LOL! Love by the Dashboard Lights, eh?
U2-Joshua Tree
Aqualung - Jethro Tull. . .should of been there, somewhere.
How about "Dixie Chicken"..I've seen the bright lights of Memphis and the Comodore Hotel.
Survivor, Grand Funk Railroad.
I always liked Abbey Road best and I don't like the "White Album" at all.
So Ture!
"The White Album" would've made a great single album after cutting out all the filler.
