My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

My eyes are tired
I cannot not sleep
the muse is messing
with my mind at night
The change is coming
I can tell
the spirit is moving
over the hill
the Kingdom of the Glenn
is grand, formed and shaped
by my hand
The child lives there
the one with bare toes
the one the warlocks
want by the nose.
The winds are a blowin'
through the Glenn
the fen is fillin'
with brackish water
the winds are a blowin'
ill will, will come
to the Castle of the Glenn
The next episode will be
one of good fortune
for those there
but soon the dark
and stormy nights
will visit the glenn
and turn it to fright...

Thank you, very much.
Wow! I knew that there were many forms, but I didn't realize how many.
It will diffinately help me create a more peaceful river bed for my words to flow through.

"Did You Never Know?"
by Sara Teasdale
Did you never know, long ago, how much you loved me --
That your love would never lessen and never go?
You were young then, proud and fresh-hearted,
You were too young to know.
Fate is a wind, and red leaves fly before it
Far apart, far away in the gusty time of year --
Seldom we meet now, but when I hear you speaking,
I know your secret, my dear, my dear.

"Like Barley Bending"
by Sara Teasdale
Like barley bending
In low fields by the sea,
Singing in hard wind
Ceaselessly;
Like barley bending
And rising again,
So would I, unbroken,
Rise from pain;
So would I softly,
Day long, night long,
Change my sorrow
Into song.

Old English sayings.
GETTING BOMBED A bombard is a leather jug which holds 8 pints or 4 quarts. A full bombard of ale would make you drunk.
WET YOUR WHISTLE Many years ago in England, pub frequenters had a whistle baked into the rim or handle of their ceramic cups. When they needed a refill, they used to blow the whistle to get some service.

Something form my writing this last fall, nice to think about (warm)liquid precipitation right now.
Dripping Days
Water weeps from the eves
amid rumbles of a summer storm
and I sit inside, eyeing dripping leaves
accepting it as the days norm
Wind tugs at the corner of the house
bemoaning such a drizzling day
and I inhabit the fireside as I may
glad not my spirits to douse
A good book in which to lose myself
kept quite close upon a nearby shelf
chaptering it amid the music of the rain
setting the storm aside with easy distain

bentfeather,we went Thursday night and all your care's melt away when you get there.I made up my mind to redecorate and I did with a boat theme,we even found a bargain boat lamp for 25.00.I set the table with the sailboat dishes and glasses the kids bought us and we clean for 2 days.We might lose power here because of the storm.Heavy snow and winds.

Your place sounds so lovely. Sea side is really a good place to be-all the negative ions in the air.
They help to relax us. I am a water baby and love to be in the water or near it.
