Here is the day we have all been waiting for. The "New Year's Day" bowl games are on the day after, but there are some great matchups today.
Look at at least 2 upsets....
Hang on, Sloopy!
Just thought I'd add this latest update (from USC FB office) if anyone is going to the Rose Bowl on Wednesday:
PASADENA, CA Due to recent storms and flooding in the Los Angeles area, public parking at Brookside Golf Course will be closed on January 4, 2006. As a result, there will be extremely limited parking at the Rose Bowl Game on January 4, 2006.
Accordingly, the Pasadena Police Dept. and California Highway Patrol (CHP) are asking fans to utilize the following modes of alternative transportation to the stadium:
1. Gold Line Train Service
Directions - From the 210 FWY West, exit Madre Ave. Gold Line parking is located just north of the 210 FWY. Fans can take the Gold Line train to the Memorial Park exit with a short walk to Parsons Engineering at the corner of Walnut and Fair Oaks (100 West Walnut) where a shuttle service will take them to the stadium. Shuttle service from the Parsons Lot begins at 12 p.m. on January 4.
Fans can also park at Union Station (800 N. Alameda Street in Los Angeles) taking the Gold Line train to the Memorial Park exit and follow the same route as mentioned above. Fans needing information regarding the Gold Line can call 1-800-266-6883.
1. Alternate Auto and Limousine Parking at Pasadena City College
Alternate auto and limousine parking is available at Pasadena City College (PCC), located at Del Mar and Hill Streets. Day-of-game limousine parking at the Rose Bowl is sold out. The cost for parking at PCC is $15 for autos and $50 for limousines. Fans can then take the free shuttle to the Stadium and return to PCC on the shuttle following the game. The Pasadena City College Parking Lot will open at 12 p.m. on January 4.
Fans deciding to drive to the Rose Bowl on Jan. 4 can expect significant delays and long walks to the stadium.
Fans desiring additional information or for questions regarding alternative transportation to the Rose
Bowl, please call: (626) 577-3101, or visit the Rose Bowl Stadium website at www.rosebowlstadium.co
The Mountaineers finally put some more points on the board. Welcome back, offense!
Nice run...that should do it,up by 10, 8 minutes to go.
They started that drive on the 4 yard line, pretty impressive.
This has turned into a good game.
I'm digging that band. Playing Mars, the Bringer of War and the Dies Irae. Nice.
Oh man...Georgia is not going away. Another big finish.
TD Georgia! Oh Alamama, this is gettin' good!
How do you let a reciever get behind you and be that wide open? man.....
It's in the script.
I coached secondary for four years. What happened there would result in an irate coach giving the dreaded questions no dback wants to hear. "What happened? Why wern't you deeper than the deepest?"
That looked worse on replay.
This Steve Slaton (freshman!!!) is definately hitting on some 2008 NFL-Draft-Day radar screens.
Yeah, that Slaton is a tank. Hat's off to Georgia--they never let up their assault, and they can still pull out a W.
it was bad...This game is gonna come down to the last play...
Wacky OT too? :))
Triple OT, decided by blocked FG...but which team? Watch to find out!
Whoa...did not see that coming! Great audacious punt fake!
Fake punt...what a great call!.wow
Well, nobody was expecting that fake punt---except of course, Bob Griese.
