They played hard - I'm proud of them

Pats game was on here yesterday, I was surprised they lost to Miami. On Saturday they will host a team(the Jags) that actually has a better record.

I don't think I have to ask but what conference were those officials from doing the Iowa Florida game???

cody did go out with a tying TD pass...an image that will probably be superseded by the bizarre FG kick, but a nice way to close out a college career in any event.

That sounds bad...I was totally into the Cotton Bowl and forgot to check out the other games....
To: scott says
If you think I am upset your should have heard the commutators of the game. One of them was screaming.

What the hell, how come the auburn game is allowed to look at replays??? We could have used some of that in the Iowa game.

yeah...
Chris Spielman let the officials have it.
But the officials had been missing calls all game long.
the NCAA needs to train it's officials better and it needs to get some younger blood in there. The Buddy system of officiating in the NCAA has gotten out of hand.
To: mware
it's all about who is upstairs...
however, that offsides call IS NOT reviewable.
To: MikeinIraq
Sad, when a game is decided by the officials instead of the players on the field.

I think it is ironic that the two oldest coaches are playing in Miami. :)

yeah....
although I have some misgivings about a 4 loss team being in the BCS, but it does illustrate how crappy the system is.
To: mware
make that mix them up. I guess you can quess I am an Iowa fan.

Yeap, you are correct, although there was that one touchtown that resulted from a spearing call that wasn't.
