Former Ohio State tailback Maurice Clarett is wanted on two counts of aggravated robbery following an incident that took place early Sunday, police said.
According to a report issued by the Columbus Division of Police, Maurice E. Clarett approached two people who were standing in an alley at the rear of the Opium Lounge, located at 346 South High St.
Police allege that Clarett, 22, demanded property from a 28-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman "with a handgun in his presence then got into a white SUV with two other unknown suspects and sped away."
Neither victim was hurt, police said.

Another Mike Rozier
You have a good point.
Perhaps I had too many glasses of champagne last night. ;)
The sports complex has more land than the classroom campus. Might just explain part of the reason why it costs so much attend such schools.
And what did the NCAA do to Ohio State because they won a national championship with a player who everyone knows was taking money and stuff totally in violation of NCAA rules? Nothing, some programs can do anything they want, others get punished.
Looks like it's frequented by the thug/punk NFL/Rapper wannabes. Now I know why I've never gone in.
What a sad story about Clarett.
These young men are given a free ride in school if they dont apply themselves it is nobodys fault but their own.
If they do not get a degree they have no one to blame but themselves.
I agree in principle, but Ohio State is not to blame in this case.
Clarett's troubles started when he accepted piles of bling from who-knows-where, and then reported it stolen. Whoops!
Now, it really WAS stolen (scores of CDs, video gear, all of it in his car) but, uh, possessing that stuff was a line of NCAA violations. So then as I recall he tried to change his story about the theft, but too late.
Ohio State was the best thing that ever happened to Maurice Clarett and apparently he has now pissed it all away.
For the record, I'm a fan of Notre Dame and Penn State. Though I respect Ohio State as a BigTen rival, I am not a fan of the school.
Thank you for reminding me. Mike Tyson is the archetype: no stone-cold friends, just leeches and hangers-on.
Mind if I wax poetic for a moment?
Clarett had the chops to reach for the stars, but all he's done is burn up on reentry.
Feet of clay.
Practically the entire OSU lineup looks like a collection of bums or thugs!
Another product of the evil OSU football program.
Not that I'm biased or anything.
Go Blue.
Go Bucks.
This OSU grad is damn glad Clarett's not our problem anymore.
(scoff)
Find me any other college that doesn't play by the same NCAA rules as OSU ... and find me a more decent and winning coach in as many years as Jim Tressel.
2002: 14-0 and National Champs
And he had to deal with Clarett!
And ask any one of the record 14 players drafted by the NFL last season if OSU is "evil".
Choose your words more carefully, FRiend.
:-)
(scoff again)
Even Broncos coach Mike Shanahan gave him a chance and he threw that down the drain. Denver has a unique rotating running back system in which ALL running backs get a chance to carry the ball. Had Clarett been patient, he would have had the chance to prove himself - maybe he wouldn't have been a starting RB on the Bronco team but he could have done the special teams thing and maybe gotten some looks from other teams who were hurting at RB.
Clarett = Jackass
I don't care WTF the recent history is, OSU is evil...
'nuff said.
Go Blue.
Hi LLLLoyd.
A young man hired by a supermarket reported for his first day of work. The manager greeted him with a warm handshake and a smile, gave him a broom and said, "Your first job will be to sweep out the store."
"But I'm a Michigan graduate," the young man replied indignantly. "I even played football there!"
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know that," said the manager. "Here, give me the broom - I'll show you how."
It was reported that Michigan head football coach Lloyd Carr will only be dressing twenty players for the Ohio State game. The rest of the players will have to get dressed by themselves.
For 2005 you could also say LLLLLoyd. Great to hear he got an extension!
Go Bucks!
