I'm not sure how many we'll have tonight, and I'm in the process of moving, but we'll just sit back and see where it goes.
What are your plans for New Years Eve?

This is a thread for singles, not a thread about singleness -- no moping allowed! :-)
Fine... I'm outta here. :-(

Good evening!
Wow...it seems like this year went by in a blink. Guess that means I'm getting old...or maybe time just flies when you're having fun?
A gal I know from church is hosting a get together tomorrow night, so that's where I'll be. I'm not very good in crowds and likely there will be people there I don't know, so I'm a bit nervous, but on the other hand, the only way to get good at handling different situations is to handle 'em - even if badly at times! And hopefully I'll get to know more local folks - I've not been here long.

Hi Scott and everyone,
No big plans this weekend. Moving is you or helping someone else? We shall do what we can to continue the trouble you got into for FReeping instead of helping out!

Gee, I have missed you all. I had such a busy Christmas. I had all three of my daughters here and all 9 grandchildren. (Remember now, I am only 56. LOL!!) My brother and his family stayed with my mother, so they all came for dinner the day after Christmas. We had a house full, plus two teen-aged great nephews staying with my sister-in-law and their mother across the field. They came over a lot, too. 11 kids at one time in the house, whew!
I went out with my role model on New Year's Eve. Her gentleman friend could not go at the last minute, so she asked me to take her to this jazz/blues club/restaurant where we met up with a couple who are friends of hers. Marie is 78 and looks 60 and acts 40! We partied until 1:30! I had not been out on New Year's for at least 15 years! What a blast! I did not dance, but Marie did. There were more women there than men, but the women got up and danced the fast dances alone or with each other. LOL! You can with that type of music. Then, for slow dances, the women dragged their men onto the dance floor.
What is it about you men that it takes real pressure to get you to dance???
Happy New Year to you all!
