Well I got some kind of worm that messed up Explorer.exe (cannot uninstall or save anything), Internet Explorer and to a lesser degree, Firefox. My chat programs (except MSN Messenger) will not work and everything else does not work unless I run them in compatability mode for a another version of Windows.

I'll be here tonight. No date. Did go to the BEACH, in Mason, for a NY celebration, at 9. Nice fireworks display, and such. It was free, as I still have a pass, as does my sis, whom got me to take her.

I do plan to "Ring in the New year", in front of my '62 Zenith Roundie, and get a shot of the ball at 12:00, If I can, and put it on AK, as some others are doing. I did this 2 years ago. I meant to do this on the 2000, but it is NOT working right at the moment. Intermittent color and video, AND a knob broke off, for the channel control!! :(
I'll glue it back, but I don't know if it will work right or not....

So, I'll go to the "old standby", in the basement, and get a shot or two. Then, I'll watch Twilight Zone, or maybe 24, I think it is on WGN or such(not sure which season).

BTW-- Rodney called today. He is blaming ALL of the trouble he got into on his wife. As usual he claims he knew nothing of the theft, and such and it is ALL his wife's fault. he is talking of divorcing her. and I told him to remember the words "for better or for worse", from his vows.

LOL - it does put you at the mercy of your mischievous friends, doesn't it?

Bummer, man, I'd love to see you fire up the RCA2000 but if it ain't working right, well, hopefully you'll get her back in shape again. Got another busy week coming up at work, even though we had closing, it had been light due to the holiday. BTW, I plan on getting a screen shot of 2006 on my antique TV too, my 1982 Zenith System 3. B-) Didn't plan it that way, one plan was to replace it in 1993 or so as TV's go but it keeps going although there has beena few times she has shown her age a little. I had a chance a long time ago for a Zenith roundie, it had the same knobs as my 1970 Chromacolor so it must have been newer than 1962 but I passed it up. B-( I think it would be cool to use a roundie as a main set, play with people's minds as they come over to visit. B-) IIRC, when I visited the LBJ library in Austin, Texas, they has a mockup of the Oval Office and LBJ had three Zenith sets, I think they were black and white, not sure but they had retangular screens, I think it was from circa 1966 or so and his sets had the same knobs as my Chromacolor.

Gee, I have missed you all. I had such a busy Christmas. I had all three of my daughters here and all 9 grandchildren. (Remember now, I am only 56. LOL!!) My brother and his family stayed with my mother, so they all came for dinner the day after Christmas. We had a house full, plus two teen-aged great nephews staying with my sister-in-law and their mother across the field. They came over a lot, too. 11 kids at one time in the house, whew!

I went out with my role model on New Year's Eve. Her gentleman friend could not go at the last minute, so she asked me to take her to this jazz/blues club/restaurant where we met up with a couple who are friends of hers. Marie is 78 and looks 60 and acts 40! We partied until 1:30! I had not been out on New Year's for at least 15 years! What a blast! I did not dance, but Marie did. There were more women there than men, but the women got up and danced the fast dances alone or with each other. LOL! You can with that type of music. Then, for slow dances, the women dragged their men onto the dance floor.

What is it about you men that it takes real pressure to get you to dance???

Happy New Year to you all!

You've obviously never seen me dance.

Well, I haven't danced in years, but I would be willing to give it a try. Where is Arthur Murray when I need him? ;)
