Happy BD, Two Thirds. Confetti Angel Food with white fluffy frosting was ALWAYS my BD Cake as a kid. As I recall there was a faint cherry (or perhaps almond) flavor to it.
I always envied those kids who's Mothers provided a fancy decorated cake from the bakery when I was a kid.

Confetti Angel Food with white fluffy frosting was ALWAYS my BD Cake as a kid.Thank you so very much, I.G.!
That's when it started with me and it carries on today. I'm leaving the frosting out, tho, 'cause I can't eat like I did when I was a kid...LOL! I like white cake better, but angelfood confetti is my exclusive BD cake.

How wonderful. specialized makes "good stuff".. and a well fitted bike is impt when you do a lot of riding (and as we....sigh...get older).. the knees/back esp suffer with wrong size & improper fit. What a nice gift... Happy Birthday to Me... etc!!! :-)
Take pix!!!
I have a large Fugi frame that would prolly fit you. Thought I would build a bike for my BIG / little brother but he doesn't ride to make it worth while. Maybe someday.

Good morning again, and Happy Birthday!!!
Well, I did get back to sleep for a bit. Woke about half an hour ago.
I went through this weird sleep pattern last year. To conquer it, I need to stay up late, drink some hot chocolate before bed, and get some exercise during the day. At least I think that's how I beat it last year. The grandkids are coming to spend the night tonight, so that may take care of part of my sleeplessness.

Thank you very much, Jane! Being off all week is a GREAT BD present! Good luck on the grandkids helping to break the sleeplessness.

Much nicer here. It's just been too warm. I look forward to the cooler temps in the winter. It's been mid 70s for several days now.

I always envied those kids who's Mothers provided a fancy decorated cake from the bakery I did, too. But I also knew those cakes were beyond my finances when my kids were born. So, I learned to do it myself. The irony is my kids didn't like cake when they were younger. So the tradition is to have a large chocolate chip cookie for their birthday.
I can and have made wedding cakes and next week, I'll be decorating my dad's 80th b'day cake.

Happy Birthday, Two-thirds. My husband is sharing the day with you and he never got nothing neither. He never even got a birthday cake.
I hope today is everything you wish it to be.
