Thanks! I really appreciate it!

Most certainly I will be praying for you!
It's very difficult to move, being away from family, financially troubling. Been there, done that. You are not alone, it's only temporary. This too shall pass!
So, on to more practical things, I understand Colorado is a very expensive state to live in (sorry, it's the mother in me, can't help it). You should come to the Ozarks! We have computers here too. ;) OK, that's a recent thing but we like them! And we're almost as beautiful as Colorado and certainly more friendly.

Just stopping by to wish you a Merry Christmas.
Good job on the thread.
To: LaineyDee
Whew! I feel much better. :)

Actually, this part of Colorado (not far from the WY border) is pretty inexpensive. I think Denver might be bad..dunno.
And I have a roommate, which was why I was able to do this in the first place. And I like my church! This is one of the most conservative, faithful dioceses (is that a word) in the country, which is one reason I decided on this location.
At this point, I've learned that I *can* pick up and move, which is a revelation to me. I was so afraid of driving in traffic that I never thought I could leave - I'd never driven in a place bigger than about 7000. So *that* was another good thing for me. But right now, if I'm going to move again - which I don't really wanna do for awhile! - I need to get a job so I've got the resources to do it.

Wow -- that is absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you so much!

You're very welcome. I was amazed at the weather here in St. Louis -- when I left my home in northwest Missouri, it was cold. I drove all the way to St. Louis and stopped at Wal Mart, and when I got out of the car my heavy coat was unneeded! 64 degrees!

Actually, this part of Colorado (not far from the WY border) That's funny, when I moved away from here it was to Wyoming which is a wonderful state. Good luck Rosie, you're a big girl now and you can do this! Now, I've got to go assemble presents I foolishly bought unassembled. Have a wonderful evening and thank you for your service in the military. I have a feeling you're going to make it just fine.
To: RosieCotton
Anyone that will put up with crazy cats is A-OK in my book! :)

Thanks! Have fun present assembling, if that's possible. ;-) Merry Christmas to you!
To: apackof2
I was wondering where you were, I'm off to assemble presents and I completely understand about the "cleaning and cleaning". You must clean before they come and more so after. :)
Merry Christmas and good night.
To: scott7278
Wow, green Christmas, hehe. It's fine by me. :-)
To: Victoria Delsoul
Actually, there is still a chance that we might have a white Christmas. They say that if you live in St. Louis and you don't like the weather, wait 15 minutes!

So you're probably right. I like snow during Christmas, but I'll tell you... I wouldn't mind having a warmer weather as well.
